Last night, there was a rumour doing the rounds that Dabangg 2 would be delayed, as major portions of the film were yet to be shot.
It turns out, the rumour wasn’t true and was intentionally being spread. We have received official clarification that the film is on schedule to release for Christmas. The next shooting begins next week and the film will be wrapped up by November.
The following release dates are confirmed for November – December
- November 13th – Yash Chopra film, Son of Sardaar
- November 30th – Talaash
- December 7th – Khiladi 786
- December 21st – Dabangg 2
The first big release of 2013 is Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, which arrives on 11th January. Which means, Dabangg 2 would benefit from 21 open days!

There are some big releases in November and December.
Salman is consistently delivering hits of above 145 crores for last 3 films and within short intervals and the magnitude of hit is growing each time.
just one film holds the fate of other films. i am really happy that its releasing on Xmas and Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is imran khan movie so no worries for it. it wont affect that much

Each star has their phase and their share of ups and downs. In last 4 years, Salman Khan is phenomenon, enjoying the stardom which might compare to green phase of Rajesh Khanna.

@indicine is khiladi 786 releasing on 7th december bcoz the shooting started in june but it stoppped in between due to the death of rajesh khanna n after that akshay is promoting joker n omg till now n also doing ouatim 2 in between.will akshay complete the shooting n post production in just 3 months?

See, what is good film is subjective issue. Every films have their likers and dislikers. If Salman’s films are not good then ourpublic could not have made them BB and ATBB. I might not like certain films of other stars but that does not prevent it from being good unless people dislikes them. Right now, whole India is eagerly waiting for Salman’s film, and people of India is no fool.
