Dabangg 2 Box Office: Second Day Collections

Dabangg 2 has collected Rs 19 crore on it’s second day at the box office. The two day cumulative total is Rs 40 crores net.

  • Friday – 20.98 crore
  • Saturday – 19 crore
  • Total – 39.98 crore

After excellent collections on Day 1, business at single screens witnessed a slight drop. Multiplexes across the country remained steady, although the expected jump in business for the evening/night shows didn’t happen.

The film is off to a good start on Sunday and should put up bigger numbers. The word-of-mouth is mixed and Dabangg 2 certainly isn’t carrying excellent reports like the first film did in 2010.

All eyes on Sunday and Tuesday (Christmas) now. Stay tuned for all the Dabangg 2 box office updates.

  • dabangg + ready + bodyguard + ett = 141 + 145 + 123+ 187= 596 crores

    raone + mnik + don 2+ jthj = 118 + 75 + 106 + 102 = 401 crores…

    worldwide =

    dabangg + ready + bodyguard + ett = 215 + 185+ 230 + 310 = 940 crores

    raone + mnik + don 2 + jthj = 202 + 205 +206 + 207 = 820 crores….

so presently salman is definitely king…worldwide!!!!!

dabangg 2 will also surely do 300+ crores!!!!

  • Tell your SRK to release his movie alone for 4-weeks 4000-screens movie time 1-hr 30-mins if it will READY overall collection in India then talk.

  • After releasing 3550 screen
it’s look like 120 cr. Is tuff for the film….
30 cr. Overseas is impossible like this kind of crap film

  • are even ranbir kapoor beats srk films!!! so srk fans (jhutiya fans) 1st think of beating ranbir…then think about akshay/ hritik / aamir / …and then talk about salman!!! hahahahahahaaha!!!

  • Yup! RIKISHI
    even it relesed 3550 screen
it should break all possible record
but this time masala content will nt work for salman….
    Hit..nt more than that

  • At tejas
who said you that d2 earn 7 cr. Overseas first day…
7 cr. Is two days collection of D2

wher JTHJ collected 15.8 cr. In two days…

  • You fools salman fans;

If srk has failed to beat READY,BODYGUARD,DABANGG,ETT
    collection in India

Salman has also failed to Beat MNIK,RA.ONE,DON2,JTHJ collection in overseas……

    Stop talking likes kids

  • After reading all the posts above.. SRK fans are pathetic.. Even they know the truth but just the sake or their so called ego won’t accept it.. More screens or not people still have to bug a ticket, pay for it with their money.. More screens do’nt mean they are free to watch.. JTHJ was running 60% on the opening weekend which means 40% seats were available but nobody bought those seats .. Truth is more people want to spend money to watch salman than SRK …ra1, don2 JTHJ were all released on holidays and mon of um could cross Ready .. A non holiday non action movie of salman khan

  • 21.5 cr + 19 crs + Sunday is looking around 21-22 crs = 61-62 cr weekend that too on a non holiday release … Salman is only competing with himself.. That should be the end of discussion.

  • #nice post…

You fool…you are from which country?
You haven’t know there is a clash going on 13th nov…and also diwali is there…..any film will get more than 60% respond in big clash is very good…
If salman released on that day i bet the repond will be lower than 40%

  • Nice post and other salman fans thought that JTHJ released on 9000 screen without a clash and in holiday……
That’s why they are behaving like fools and talking about Ready’s collection

  • SRK movies had been doing good overseas and a big credit goes to yashraj and dharma productions. Any other SRK movie did’nt do great business overseas if it was some other banner where as Salman’s every movie is breaking record of his last movie even overseas…

  • Salman fans thought;
    Friday Release of dabangg2
    collection will be- 25-30 cr.
    Actually collected- 21.1 cr.
    Saturday- 23-27 cr.
Actually Collected- 19 cr.(lower than JTHJ despite having 80m more screen no clash with another masala movie)

now if d2 have to cross 3I collection
salman fans have to hoping that D2 will cross 400 cr. In india…
    Keep hoping salman fans

  • after monday…there will be a huge drop in DABANGG 2..bcoz there is no content not a repeat value.
all salman fans have already watched it and the maximum of D2 has finished.let’s see.what will be happen.

  • Imam. You A $$ all the good theaters were booked by JTHJ and left over theaters were playing SOS .. Get your facts right.. Life time business of JTHJ and SOS is not far apart with JTHJ having 2700 screens and SOS merely 1500-1600.. SRK has a limit his movies are not going over 120 cr. Ready movie is talked about because it released in 1700 screens and non holiday and ra1 with 3000 screens , single holiday release 1 full year of promotion could not beat ready .. Then came don2 a very decent action movie, solo release on Xmas could not beat ready… JTHJ with so much hype could not beat Ready and guess what ready is the lowest grossing movie of salman since 2010. Domestic box office always comes first and no one can beat salman currently.. Worldwide box office since 2010 salman and SRK are head to head with ETT having highest worldwide gross amongst both the stars.. Second comes JTHJ , 3rd is bodyguard, 4th is dabangg, 5 th is don2 as per BOI.

  • the worst thing abt salman fans is that at each SRK release they start barking abt BOI ..but at release of salman movie..they only talk abt taran and komal..such coward fans they are..!!!
two day collections of D2 is 18+15.34=33.34 cr..and response for sunday is also not good.

  • What could be more pathetic than SRK fans debating here when SRK can not cross 115 crs and salman is crossing 185 crs…. Dudes let SRK cross 125 crs if ready then you r most welcome to debate.. Right now you don’t have any material to debate.. I would suggest that do some campaigns for SRK so he can get some more fans..

  • nice post…first go and make ur “G.K.” strong..
u have increased the screens of JTHJ as 2700(actual 2500) and decreased the screens of SOS as 1600(actual 2000)..don’t make foolish comments.
