Dabangg 2 has collected Rs 19 crore on it’s second day at the box office. The two day cumulative total is Rs 40 crores net.
- Friday – 20.98 crore
- Saturday – 19 crore
- Total – 39.98 crore
After excellent collections on Day 1, business at single screens witnessed a slight drop. Multiplexes across the country remained steady, although the expected jump in business for the evening/night shows didn’t happen.
The film is off to a good start on Sunday and should put up bigger numbers. The word-of-mouth is mixed and Dabangg 2 certainly isn’t carrying excellent reports like the first film did in 2010.
All eyes on Sunday and Tuesday (Christmas) now. Stay tuned for all the Dabangg 2 box office updates.

@Nice Post, how many films in history have such huge expectations, brand value, hype, a superstar going through his golden time at this point ..? Well I only say its underperforming because according to you Salman fans, the 1st day collections were supposed to be any sum in between 27-31cr ..?
As you Salman fans say, a movie from Salman is critics-proof actually a celebration.. Now with such strong statements, everyone’s expectations are high, the stakes are high, but when the movie releases, it doesn’t release alone, it releases with plenty of your excuses to disguise your firm pre-verbal statements.

who cares about overseas.. it’s the hindi film industry.. what matters most is the domestic collection.. boxoffice verdicts are given on the basis of domestic collections.. if a movie is flop in india it is declared as flop.. n srk’s overseas market credit goes to movie makers like yash chopra n karan johar who made NRI based movies n good production houses like the yrf n dharma which has good hold in overseas market.. without it he is nothing

nice post…salman movies are performing better than SRK movies now-a-days..it’s a fact..but it is not bcoz salman is more bigger than SRK.actually this is the era of masala flicks and sallu has just sticked to it..if he ll try different genres like aamir nad SRK do..then i don’t think that he will earn as much money as he is earning now-a-days..

@hamza khan and to all srk fans, why are you in such a hurry? let dabaang2 finish its lifetime(4 weeks) in india and then see its final collections. I guarantee that it will collect more than dabaang, atleast 150 crores net minimum in india which means it will be salman’s 5th BB in a row starting from dabaang(out of which 2 are ATBBs and i still dont rule out dabaang2 becoming a ATBB). Its not we, just a fraction of people here on indicine who can determine the fate of dabaang2 but its the great indian masses and they will not disappoint. After all its not a srk movie that gets rejected by the indian masses it is a SALMAN the great KHAN movie.
