Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has fared exceptionally well in its first week, collecting around Rs 52 crore (including paid previews) at the box office. The film opened to a good response on Friday, showed good growth in business over the weekend and remained rock-steady over the weekdays.
The film remains the first choice for multiplex audience, although Nikhil Advani’s D-Day will prove to be tough competition as the word-of-mouth for both films is fantastic.
Without major releases in the next few weeks before Chennai Express on August 9th, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag could well be the 2nd film in 2013 (after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani) to cross the 100 crore mark.

race 2 grossed 100 crore. so it’ll be the 3rd 100 crore movie this year. BMB is neither good or bad. it’s mixed. but farhan deserves 100 crore for his performance.
Can’t say whether i will or won’t.. but for me this is one film which deserves every single rupee that it has collected or going to collect!

There is no big film before chennai express. So it has a slide chance to cross 100 cr. But i don’t think that it can cross 100 cr, lifetime collection will 90-95 cr.
Its deserves 100+cr bussiness
It dosn’t matter that BMB will cross the 100 Cr. mark or not, but Farhan & Rakyesh did supreame job to produce such a movie which could be a new lesson to hindi film Industry.

this film definitely is beyond box office. its a gem and it is far better than 95% of the 100 cr movies. i wish this movie makes 100 cr which will give boost to those people who want to make good cinema irrespective of commercial stuff. hats off BMB team.
Movie is good but 100cr is difficult.
amazing performance by farhan. truely deserves 100 crores. but the way they told story was confusing. his childhood, struggle and success were shown in bits and pieces. they could have shown that straight forward. but that doesn’t take away the hard work they did for this movie. A real inspirational movie seen in years. Filmfare and national award is guaranteed for farhan this year.
