Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly known as KK, has got arguably the most versatile voice amongst all the singers this generation. He got his first break in Gulzar’s classic ‘Machis’ in 1996 when he sang the popular number ‘Chod Aaye Hum’ with senior singers Hariharan and Suresh Wadkar. Since then, he has given his silken touch to many classic and popular numbers.

KK has been blessed with an infinite vocal range and hence eases through both the lowest and highest notes comfortably. The freshness of his voice has remained the same during all these years. Commendable!

7) Maine Dil Se Kaha: Listening to KK’s singing in this number from ‘Rog’ is equivalent to listening to a flute. His quiet rendition of this M.M. Kreem composition has such a powerful impact that the voice stays with you even after the song is over.
