Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale Day 4 (Monday) Box Office Collection Update

Bajirao Mastani continued its glorious run on Day 4 at the box office. The film was rock-solid on Monday, as there was hardly any drop at most centres that we tracked. In fact, some were performing better than Friday. The centre that registered the biggest fall, dropped only by 21%, which is excellent.

Dilwale, on the other hand, was steady. The percentage of drop from Friday to Monday is bigger than Bajirao Mastani, but that is only because Dilwale took a bigger start on Friday. The average drop for Dilwale is around 45-50% from Friday, which is normal for a weekday.

At single-screens, Dilwale is performing very well, while Bajirao Mastani has taken the lead at multiplexes.

There is a good chance that the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film could put up a total in the range of Rs 10 crore +/- on Monday.

Collections of both films are the weekend are as follows.

  • Both of them are winners.
Both of them are good before interval and slightly boring after interval.
    My prediction now
    DILWALE- 165 crs.
    Bajirao Mastani- 130 crs.
DILWALE overseas performance is just terrific, it might finish collecting more than $25Millions.
In short it is a victory for BOLLYWOOD.

  • My bajirao experience
Bajirao is character and performance driven film. SLB again shows how brilliant he is , how skilled he is and how much much knowledge he has about crafts . Screenplay of the movie Is out of this world ,u can’t ask for more and cinematography is one of the best for any movie release this year
In every possible way it’s a magnum opus , first half of the movie is so intriguing , story moves In so fascinating way , sets are so grandeur , their are no loop holes, u are soo much hooked that you don’t realize its interval , by then all you can say is THIS IS A MASTEPIESCE
If only for first half , Bajirao could have been a masterpiece but Second half doesn’t lives upto the expectations you have for the movie whose first half is so extraordinary .
Second half is good ,but you expect more.
Dialogues are very well written and are the biggest plus point of the movie . in short they are whistle maar. Songs are ok , but they look se beautiful due to sets that they too become watchable atleast, and background score can give you goosebumps .
Coming to performance , oh baby watch bajirao for the incredible performances from its lead cast.
Ranvir as bajirao nails it, his dialogue delivery , screen presence are like a real king. Full marks for him. Deepika has best character to potray , and she does so in best possible way. And yes she does look very beautiful. Priyanka as keshabai comes up with charming performance , though her character isn’t good as that of ranvir or deepika.
Supporting cast of every bhansali movie has been great and so it happens this time. Tanvi azmi has already got enough praise for her much deserved act. Other actors like milind soman too shine in their earnest performance.
Honestly , bajirao is an experience , do yourself a favour watch it. Its not a family entertainment but you can watch this with your friends or even alone.
But still I will believe that despite almost making a masterpiece, slb has choosen a wrong release date due to which this classic won’t get its b.o due

  • I think Bajirao Mastani will collect 10.5cr today because kolkata multiplexes have kept ticket prices same as weekend and yet it is sold out today.

and 2nd Friday will definitely be more thab 1st friday because of Christmas

  • Thats a brilliant news. Although multiple other sources are suggesting bigger drops for Dilwale.
    My Prediction:
    BM- 9 to 10 cr.
    Dilwale- 10-12 cr.

  • Dilwale is an average film.Certainly better than hny coz it has some plot.Comedy is big low in dis film.Romance is electrifying.Srk has done an excellent job so as kajol.Varun is disappointing.Kriti is gud.Johny is irritating.Boman Irani is wasted.Overall it is a one time watch, certainly not in a theatre by wasting money.Bm on other hand is a masterpiece.Slb is extraordinary!!All actors have done a great job.4.5/5

So it was expected..Bm will beat dilwale in lt total!!

  • So,finally watched #Dilwale,Sorry to say–Biggest disappointment of the year, went in just expecting a decent entertainer but it is’nt even that! RATING:: 2/5

Forget Chennai Express,I found even HNY better than #Dilwale. At least it had few lol moments n nandu bhide.

Only SRK and Kajol somehow salvage this film from being utter crap, music is very good,Varun is only good in comic scenes but horrible in his emotional act.

Jokes are flat,I hardly laughed while watching the film.

And it is not that I am some intellectual who loves only high content films..I loved Chennai express,HNY was decent in the first watch, liked Kick, rowdy too.

I am surprised how some people are calling it Rohit Shetty’s most entertaining film..This is probably his weakest film along with Golmaal returns.

  • watched Bajirao. its amazing movie. loved it. this year filmfare best actor will be won by Akki or Ranveer. Dilwale is crap. BM will crush crapwale. HAR HAR MAHADEV

  • My top 10 movies this year
    1 Piku
    2 TWMR
    3 TALVAAR
    4 BABY
    5 BAJIRAO MASTANI
    BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN
    7 TAMASHA
    8 Badlapur
    9 PYAR KA PUNCHNAMA2
    10 DIL DHADAKNE DO

  • That’s good news for both parties. Havnt yet watched BM but must say the positive catalyst it got when it released is surely injecting lots of guts in in it. Perhaps i underestimated it. Will have to watch it soon. I Watched Dilwale weekend it was average that’s what I can just say.

  • Noon shows with occupancy of around 45 percent. That’s good. Evening would have around 70 percent. So that’s around 12 plus business. So haters chill Yaar
Rofl at all morons who are trying to bring down Dilwale with all their might. People who Havent even watched the movie are commenting against it

And all these bhakts standing with swords in front of theatres. Where is the so called peace protest. How can any one force one to not to watch a movie

As I had pointed out the only way bm to earn moolah was by people trying to bring down Dilwale and that’s what’s happening. Solo release would have meant bm not even crossing 50 CRORES in life time…

  • for all srk fans there is a party organized for u all from me if it touches 200cr mark…..jab ki party meri taraf se….

  • saw dilwale today and what a great family movie. to see shahrukh khan and kajol together was awesome, the part after the song is a must watch. shahrukh khan and varun are just like real brothers and they excel in their comedy part. love this shahrukh khan-varun duo .great movie for this festive season

  • BAJIRAO is going to earn 150cr in its lifetime collections at box-office.

    1st weekend = 46.77cr
    4Weekdays = 35cr

    1st week = 82cr
    2nd week = 48cr
    Rest weeks= 25cr

    Lifetime for BAJIRAO = 155cr

    Overseas = 75cr

Total net in India = 230cr

  • All the srkians, this is the time to show your power. Haters are trying their best to degrade dilwale and srk by boycotting the screening of dilwale. If you haven’t watched dilwale in theatres yet, watch it soon and if you already have, watch it again for at least once during the weekdays. Srk has the largest fanbase and if 10% of his fans watch it in theatre this week, it will hold well which will ensure an excellent first week and more screens in the next week. Thanks.

  • being honest i hv watch both movies swear to god bm is very much ordinary movie with ordinary story but the performance is superb by the cast especialy ranveer i was epecting some war stretegy movie but it turn out typical love story ram leela was hundred time better whether dilwale is one hell of a movie you will find any flavor in it, here in pakistan craze for dilwale is on next level do watch dilwale with friend u will love srk is intense in action

  • I think 1st week of dilwale will be 100 cr
And bajirao mastani will be 75 cr…
It’s very good collection despite clash
