If reliable sources within the industry are to be believed, Hrithik Roshan and Ashutosh Gowariker are likely to work together once again.
The last time the duo worked together, they produced the most successful period film in recent times, Jodha Akbar. Being a period film, it did surprisingly well commercially too.
Ashutosh sensing potential in the historical films genre has decided to work with Hrithik in the film tentatively titled ‘Mohenjodaro’. This is a love story that could have many acclaimed technicians from Hollywood working on it.

Ashutosh has reportedly been waiting for Hrithik to free his dates to get the film rolling. Sources reveal that the director had taken quite some time to convince the star to agree to the role and it was only possible because Hrithik had opted out of Shuddhi.
‘Mohenjodaro’ has the Indus Valley civilisation as its backdrop and has a top team of professional technicians working on the production.
The heroine of the film has not been announced yet, but close sources disclose that the director is in talks with a top heroine (Deepika Padukone?) for the role.
Sources have also revealed that the camera-work is likely be handled by Karl Walter Lindenlaub, the German cinematographer who had been in charge of Hollywood films like Stargate, Independence Day, and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
Oscar-winning music composer A. R. Rahman will compose the tunes of the film, added the source.

this movie will be amazing as the title suggest, and i want this man to bounce back who had given 3 back to back classic, Lagaan,swades & jodha Akber. Hrithik is good choice as he is fantastic actor plus he got great success with Jodha Akbar with smae director, i hope he will not left this movie.
It will become semi hit like jodha akbar or disaster like khele hum je jaan se

Wow! Hrithik and Ashutosh reconciling again is a great news. Ashutosh is one of the best directors in the country, Lagaan, Swades and Jodhaa Akbar were true classics.
The director has been waiting from years to cast Hrithik in it, and it seems like it is finally getting started. Although, I’m not sure whether leaving projects like Paani and Shuddhi for it is a good move or not.

I have heard that Hrithik has been confirmed for Mohenjodaro which is a fabulous news because after he opted out of Shuddhi some people were saying he will not do movies but this is a very good news for me after a long time . I hope Ashutosh signs an actress who is not only popular but also suits the character like what Aishwarya did in Jodhaa Akbar . The trio of Hrithik, Ashutosh and Ar Rahman will recreate the magic of Jodhaa Akbar . The movie can release anytime in 2015 . According to me Ajay should do Bajirao Mastaani because Hrithik should not do both type of roles and Ajay also deserves such movies . Shuddhi should be shelved or they should postpone it because Hrithik is not doing it , Shahrukh is very busy , Salman, Akshay and Ajay will not be approached , I am not sure about Aamir and taking Ranbir, Ranveer or any other newcomer will be a big risk because the budget is huge maybe 150 crores so either they should shelve it or wait for Hrithik and postpone the movie .

asutosh is one of my favourite director along with YASHJI,kjo,raju hirani,anees bazmi.he had worked many times with SRK in films chamatkar,KHKN and his 1st choice is always SRK.I like his LEGEND movies like lagaan,swades very much.hope this time also he’ll create such magic,hope hr will give better performance than his last film guzarish.

@romance disaster, Jodhaa akbar was a huge hit considering period genre. Asoka n veer were disasters. May I remind u swades was flop. Dnt disrespect hrithikrules. Hrithik always does diff films for Indian cinema, India’s first sci first, first superhero, first internationAl luv story, first hi tech action, nw a movie bat mohenjodaro civilisation this will be a Hollywood class film. Gowariker’s direction, layman’s soulful music, top heroine, Hollywood technicians n hrithik’s world class acting will take this to international. Good news. Ashutosh got a breather with Jodha Akbar, as he was down and out with movies like Swades.
However, he is still not matching the success of Lagaan, and it is hightime he delivered a commercially and critically brilliant film.
Deepika has signed shuddhi.She won’t do this movie.
