Now that the big clash between ‘Sultan’ and ‘Raees’ has been averted, 2016, which was previously touted as the year of clashes, has two more big ones.
Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro will release on the same day as Akshay Kumar’s Rustom. Ajay Devgn’s super-ambitious Shivaay will also take on Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil during the Diwali weekend.
Talking about the clash, Devgn has said he doesn’t take clashes seriously and all his effort will go into giving his film the best possible release.
“I don’t consider it to be a clash and I don’t take such clashes seriously. Son of Sardaar has proved that. I think everybody has the right to release it whenever they want and you just have to work harder on your film. Whichever is the better film will work more at the box office”
The actor also said that it does upset him sometimes because he was the one who announced ‘Shivaay’ for Diwali, but added that he understands the business point-of-view of the other producer
“Yes and no. Yes, because it’s a close-knit industry and whatever issues we have with each other we should sort it out amongst ourselves and not harm each other’s work. And no, everybody wants a great release date so everybody has the right to choose any date for their film. It’s a balance of both, I would say”
“If I take it personally, it will upset me but if I look at it from a business point of view, then I would say it’s fair enough. You feel the person shouldn’t have done it, but you accept it because he must have his reasons”
Asked if he would meet producer Karan Johar and discuss the dates of his films, Ajay said “I would not discuss with Karan. I have announced my release date earlier than him so I will just go ahead and release it in the best way possible. I will not even bother about what is coming with me or what is not coming with me”

Honestly I don’t use to like Ajay but no one can deny the fact he is a very intelligent, self confident and honest personality.
What he says makes sense. Inconsistent but a very dangerous superstar that you don’t take chance with.

Though arrogance and over-confidence is clearly visible from his statement, still I’ll support him.
Not only Diwali, but he should stick to republic day release as well.
Why on earth, he should step back?
He announced first and even though if he didn’t announce, he analysed all pros and cons and post that only, he pushed himself into clash.
On other hand, we have a dumb producer like Ritesh, who made bogus comments about Raees and at the end, he opted the worst possible release date for it.

I think from Rustom & MJD one should move to 2nd October.
From me i think MJD should move because Rustom is patriotic film which should come on Independence week end.
Also it will allow MJD to go through post production work smoothly as its a big film.
And Shivaay vs ADHM is a one way clash.
ADHM will not stand in front of Shivaay any time…
I don’t take that as a clash. Always confident and never bows down. I think the only movie he adjusted his date was with his friend Akshay Kumar after they patched up during Sos title acquisition. Both ajay and Akshay sat down had a mutual agreement and changed their release date. Aj was released after its entertainment. I like the guy very cool, jovial calm and great human being away from screen.

Shivay definitely looks to be the stronger movie of the two and shall win the clash. Should at least cross 150/160 cr for me. Once the trailer is out then can take a better guess.
As for ADHM, I like Ranbir Kapoor as an actor and he is going through quite a tough phase so would want him to deliver a hit and make a comeback with this movie. Because JJ (his next movie) looks to be a complete waste so delivering a hit here is important for him. Expecting the movie to target at least 100 cr.

If not admit that Holiday or non holiday if the content is good and entertaining… The movie grosses well!!! Neerja Bhaagi Ram leela Barfi Holiday znmd, ek villain ouatim, Rowdy, Singham,Yjhd, tanu weds manu, ki and ka, kapoor And sons, ashique 2…. List goes on and on for non holiday release with good content too.

everything Specially producers should understand that their film should get best release date. SO they should release their films on EDX first then other small holidays like Republic Day, Independence day , G.Jayanti etc because Two films can earn & take HIT status only on EDX holidays and both films will take better share from BOX OFFICE like
