Note: There are rumours that Salman might not have a release for EID next year, as there are talks of Akshay Kumar releasing Naam Hai Boss for the festive weekend. Salman Khan is the talk of the town, what with Ek Tha Tiger now almost touching the 200 crore mark in India. Wanted (2009, Eid) started the trend as the movie recorded huge collections on Eid (Monday), which was more than the previous 3 days. Dabangg (2010, Eid) broke all opening records of 3 Idiots and took Salman’s popularity to a different level. Bodyguard (2011, Eid) broke Dabangg’s opening record by almost 45%.
