One of the three R’s ? Radhika has at last accepted an off beat film for literary genius Dr.Baraguru Ramachandrappa’s directorial venture. In the film ‘Janapada’, Radhika plays a research student. Raghav who played lead in ‘Yaake’ is the hero of the film.
Hamsalekha scored six tunes for this film. Nagaraj Adhavani is the cinematographer and editing is by Suresh URS. The story of this film written by Baraguru was published in the weekly Kannada magazine Sudha three years ago. This is about a singer of folk songs and how the globalization has affected our culture and heritage.
Baraguru’s last film was ‘Shanthi’ a film with one character had earned International acclaim and Guinness recognition.
