“I liked the narration of Aishwarya” – Deepika

Deepika Padukone (Top indian model) is all set for her movie debut. Deepika’s first movie will be Aishwarya a kannada movie directed by Indrajith Lankesh. Here is one of here recent interviews from Sify.com

You prefer Kannada or Hindi films?
Hindi films is like an ocean.

Why did you accept Aishwarya a Kannada film as your debut vehicle?
I liked the narration. This is realistic. I know the track record of director Indrajith Lankesh. That?s why I agreed for the film.

What is your work experience with superstar Upendra?
He is a wonderful actor. He gave me lot of tips during the making of the film.

Did the acting course help you?.
In Anupam Kher acting school, they taught me under acting and over acting. They teach you how to balance both.

What about Hindi offers?

My first Hindi film is starting in December. After that I have some more offers. Then I may take up another Kannada film also. I have already appeared in Himesh Reshmiya’s album. My policy is always one film at a time.

Have you dubbed your voice for ‘Aishwarya’?
No. I can read and write Kannada but was not confident to dub for the film (smiles).

What exactly do you enjoy besides shooting?
Reading. Books of Robin Sharma and philosophical one?s interest me.

Your hobbies?..
Swimming, cinema and I love music.

What is your motto in life?
Hard work pays. Commitment and dedication is very important to reach the top.
