Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara can now safely be called a success. For two reasons
- The weekend has been super at almost every multiplex in the country. Approximates for the weekend are Rs 8 crores on Friday, 9 crores on Saturday and 10.5 crores on Sunday. Weekend total – 27.5 crores.
- And two, Monday collections have remained steady. Advance booking for the late evening and night shows is very good as almost 50% of the tickets are already sold out at most plexes.
The word-of-mouth is very positive and trending is expected to be similar to Hrithik’s Jodha Akbar, which opened slow but went on to collect Rs 65 crores nett from India.
Overseas, the Hrithik-Katrina Film is easily the biggest grosser for 2011.
Will Singham affect Zindagi in week 2? We doubt as both films cater to different audiences. Families will come out in numbers for Zindagi.., while singham will open strongly at single screens.
Hrithik is back with a bang and the success of this Zoya Akhtar directed film will only help Agneepath which releases early next year.

ZNMD is turning a blockbuster..it can be a best movie but cant say coz many movies yet to release in 2011..Almost half a year is left..So its too early to sat anything..
But ya..it will b one among top at last also..

I think Agneepath will break all the bollywood records if Ra.One or Don 2 do not do much as expected. I guess Agneepath will be a film which has a total mass appeal but will also be similarly appreciated by class audience which is why it will be breaking records both in Multiplaxes and in single screens that may bring a massive net collection ever experienced by Bollywood. Hope hrithik did better than Amitab. Anyway, ZNMD is one of the best movies ever produced by bollywood.
