Shahrukh Khan, who has always been a part of Zee Cine Awards, will pay tribute to the late Yash Chopra through a performance at the 13th edition of the popular awards show.
“I will pay tribute to Yashji by dancing with the leading ladies of his films. However, we are still in the stages of finalising things” SRK announced at the Zee Cine Awards Press conference on Wednesday.
The superstar who has worked with Chopra in all his films since Darr in 1993, shared a close personal relationship with the late filmmaker.
Zee Cine Awards 2012 will be held on January 6th 2013. The awards ceremony will be aired on Zee TV on January 20th.

Just remember this: it was some srk fan who sowed the “seed of hatred” between salman’s fans and srk’s and between other actors fans and now that “seed of hatred” has grown into a tree and it continues to grow much bigger and bigger and so we cant do anything about it. Yes, even i loved movies like swades,chak de, even mnik because they were great movies with great scripts but you can’t call a ra.1 (the worst movie ever made in bollywood history), a don 2 or even a jthj as a good movie. Atleast salman makes movies for the MASSES of india who constitute a majority of our population but now a days srk’s movies arent even pleasing the classes, forget about the masses. And first you need to understand why bollywood is importing ideas from the south. Its because they simply cant find a script which can a have a “universal impact” like 3 idiots or munna bhai etc, which can please both the classes and the masses and which can guarantee financial success. the production cost of movies are increasing all the time and with the ever changing tastes of moviegoers, its a risk for everyone involved to try something new, as the movie may get outrightly rejected and suffer losses (like ra.1 & joker which tried to offer something new, ra.1 a hit & joker a disaster), so to be on the safer side producers go for the tried & tested south movies, which have really reaped huge profits for everyone involved. Some movies like kahaani,omg etc were excellent movies with good scripts, barfi was a hollywood copy and small budget movies like vicky donor etc were also well made but they didnt have the universal appeal( from the masses). Movies are all about “supply & demand” and about the “target audience”. If my target is kids, i will make cartoons or animated movies, if my target are family audiences then i will make family type movies and if my target is adults then i will make some bold, erotic and adult themed type of movies and so are salman,akki & ajay. Because most of their fans are the masses, they do such kind of movies. And even srk is doing rohit shetty’s CE which is touted as a out & out masala entertainer. Well actors basically make movies for their fans and have a certain fixed image for ex. Srk is a romantic hero, salman is a super larger-than-life entertainer, akki is a action & comedy king while aamir & hrithik are not specifically classified.
