  • Who the hell is Abhishek Bachchan???? And why is a site like Indicine which should have better sense wasting space on this complete zero, flop star. Never in the history of Hindi cinema has a flop fellow been projected falsely by the media as a star – probably they are paid by his family so that he remains in the news and gets some ads. For that matter, even Amitabh has ceased to be a superstar long, long ago though the false PR in the media makes out as if he continues to be so despite his continuous stream of nearly 30 flops one after another ever since 2000 or in fact, from 1987-88 itself ( remember Ganga, Jamuna, Saraswati; Shahenshah; Agnipath;Ajooba; Khuda Gawah; Lal Badshah etc?). And will the media pl stop giving him bogus titles of biggest superstar, shahenshah of Bollywood etc because these are just plain lies. Nor is his family the first family of Bollywood. And look at this family’s latest manouevres – after being dumped by the Congress, Shri Amitabh hitched himself to Amar Singh to bail himself out of some financial mess, exploiting Amar’s closeness to Mulayam to get all sorts of benefits – from office of profit for his wife, post of Ambassador of UP for himself and the most ludicrous of all, some Bharat Samman award for his flop son. And now that Amar Singh is in the dog house, he joins Narendra Modi’s Gujarat as a brand Ambassador!!!! This is one wrong move on the otherwise shrewd Modi’s part. He should know that Shri Amitabh is no longer the popular star that he was till the late 1980’s and so, the state will gain nothing but a bad name from this association. As the Congress party has rightly said today, this family will go wherever there is money and one might add, stoop to the cheapest of tricks to remain in the limelight. As for the pathetic Abhishek, he is in the same league as Tusshar Kappor – the paid awards etc notwithstanding. We know all this sounds unpleasant, but this is the absolute truth and the public knows. It is irritating to have Abhishek being thrust on the public by the media when they don’t want to see him at all.
