Two tickets will be booked via bookmyshow and sent to your registered mobile number, any show of Kick for the next week.

Best Ritik Fan- ‘jadoo lover aka ritiklover’ (not bcoz he spoke with originality but bcoz he went through alot of trouble in copying n pasting pro Ritik literature from fanclubs just to convince his fellow fans of his undying love for Ritik- sad but a nice gesture I thought…!
Best Lungi Fan- ’empty brain zone’ – this one time fearless ruthless Orc General was all powerful here pre 2012 but one day I arrived and within 6 months I successfully persuaded the loon to admit himself to a Psychiatric Ward where he has now been upgraded to a certified class A life long patient never to rejoin society…! Sad story that one is but essential for public safety…!

Bhojpuri babajee now is a jadoo fan so lets give this award begrudgingly to r420 who before every akki release barks the loudest about 60 cr club being broken but after a day of release suddenly grabs his tail n seeks solitude in some lonely alleyway until the next crap comes out from Akki Sir…!

I read so many comments about Khan power and their HIT movies. Now trade facts, Shahrukh Khan was not a star until DDLJ came and became biggest hit. SRK was less popular before 1995 and was not a star, Madhuri dixit was bigger draw than SRK in 1994( lady amitabh justifiably called). Bazigar, Darr were hit movies, SRK was appreciated but was not a star and no movie sell in the name of SRK. Thanks to DDLJ, he became heartthrob of NRI’s and overseas Top star which was enjoyed by only one till 1990- that was BigB- the legend. But overseas was not a very good proposition for film makers before as the taste of the audience was quite different there among NRI’s diaspora. DDLJ success in some extent changed the scenario and film makers started concentrating on the overseas too and success of pardes, dil to pagal hai and yes boss made SRK bankable and top star and SRK became the big draw in box office after 1997 back to back successes. Amir was not a big star until raja hindustani happened. He was from film background and gave hit films before 1996 like dil, hum hain rahi pyar ke, qsqt, jo jeeta wahi sikandar, dil hai ki manta nahi and rangeela. He became sensation after QSQT but his share of flop movies never made him bankable star along with just hit or semi hit tags movies. Except, Dil and QSQT( both were superhits and dil was biggest hit of 90), his movies were just hits or above average grossers. Dil’s success is mostly credited to madhuri dixit. you can read many articles where it is specifically mentioned MD overshadow his co-star though amir khan was too appreciated. Raja hindustani made amir khan certified star but still he was less popular than SRK( though it irritates me too but fact is fact). 2008 became game changer for Aamir khan and he became bigger draw than SRK after his first 100 crore movie and ATBB Ghazini and 3 idiots success just cemented his position of numero uno. between 2001 to 2007, srk and aamir were neck to neck and SRK had slight edge over Aamir as later being very selective and SRK giving more number of hits. But ghazini and 3 idiots just reversed this scenario though release of chennai express at one time threatened aamir’s position, Dhoom 3 established again aamir khan where he belongs- number 1. In overseas before 2006, SRK was dominant star and it can be seen by the number of biggest grossers SRK has in overseas but after 2006, Aamir’s movie too started getting success in overseas and back to back success of ghazini and 3 idiots just cemented aamir’s further position in overseas. It can be easily said that from 1995 to 2005, SRK movie had monopoly in overseas- thanks to DDLJ which made him biggest star in overseas. SRK should give this credit to yash chopra. But after lagaan, aamir too got appreciated but the success of Fana(YRF movie too) in overseas just cemented this. SRK’s movies got success in overseas as he was KING of romance as he is called by his fans and media (but i hardly find any passionate romance in his movies as his overacting just kills it. I liked his movie till devdas but only due to the actress MD and kajol being in the movies. For me SRK is over rated actor who succeeded just because of pure luck. I wish any1 can be as lucky as him with no film background, no looks and only over acting- but what a success! he was good in just few movies in his earlier days and that might because he was supported by such terrific actress but KHNH, KANK, OSO , Ra1, Chennai express made me believe that even Salman Khan can act better than him though Salman is another actor with terrible acting. I will continue with Salman too in the next post if it gets verified by indicine team. to be continued
