The poster of Welcome Back, directed by Anees Bazmee, has been released.
In a strange decision that doesn’t make much business sense, Eros International has announced September 4th as the release date of two films – Salman Khan Films’ Hero (starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty) and Firoz Nadiadwala’s Welcome Back (starring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar).
John replaces Akshay Kumar in the sequel to the 2007 blockbuster.

Even if you replace John with Uday Chopra or Fardeen Khan or zayed Khan or Jacky Bhagnani or Harman Baweja or Sikander Kher, it will still work.
Why did they ignore the heroine of this movie? She also belong in the first look picture?
I can’t understand why people are declaring the film as disaster or flop only because there is no Akki in this film! Akki was not the main reason for welcome to become blockbuster, it was the whole movie and Nana-Anil. Akki hadn’t much comical scenes in welcome. Without him, the movie will loss nothing. Rather John can add something very appealing to audiences. I think the movie will become a great success and I also hope that welcome back will be hugely entertaining like its predecessor welcome.
Akki was the main force in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi where he completely overshadowed Salman. He was super charming in that film. If they make its sequel, I hope that they replace Salman instead of Akki as Salman ruined a lot of fun in MSK with his robotic expressions.
