Vote: Best Actor 2008!

The final award for the Best Bollywood Actor of 2008. Here are the nominees.. you can pick 2 actors!

1) Hrithik Roshan for Jodha Akbar – This is one performance which is evergreen and will be remembered even 5 decades later, a performance which could rival his Rohit act in Koi Mil Gaya. Hrithik Roshan was splendid as Akbar in Jodhaa Akbar and he is by far our choice for the Best Actor award of 2008.

2) Naseeruddin Shah for A Wednesday – Arguably the best actor in the industry today, Naseeruddin Shah delivered yet another memorable performance in the classic A Wednesday.

3) Ranbir Kapoor for Bachna Ae Haseeno – In just his second film, Ranbir proved yet again that he has inherited acting talent from his legendary elders. He has got what it takes, to make it to the top. Compared to the other performances in this category, Ranbir’s act pales in comparison, yet deserves a nomination.

4) Aamir Khan for Ghajini – While we dont exactly agree with what Akshay said at the Star Screen Awards, Aamir was superb in Ghajini. He has delivered much better performances in the past, Ghajini is not even close to his best (Lagaan) but definitely amongst his Top 10.

5) Shahrukh Khan for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi – He was fantastic as Surinder, hammed to perfection as Raj, but millions of SRK fans continue to love every bit of his onscreen act. We, however, prefer a Mohan Bhargav (Swades) or a Kabir Khan (Chak De India) anyday!

6) Abhay Deol for Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! – One of the Most underrated actors in the Industry, Abhay is a complete natural on screen. He was terrific in Oye Lucky Lucky Oye.

7) Akshay Kumar for Singh Is Kinng – Good with his comic timing, decent enough performance.

8) Rajeev Khandelwal for Aamir – His facial expressions alone deserve an award. The television superstar rocked in Aamir! Lets just hope he gets roles that do justice to his talent!

9) Amitabh Bachchan for Sarkar Raj – Amitabh is brilliant in any role. The legend continues to deliver fantastic performance with tremendous consistency.

10) Vinay Pathak for Dasvidaniya – Movie didnt work at the box-office but Vinay Pathak’s performance was appreciated both by the critics and the audience who watched the film.

11) Abhishek Bachchan for Dostana – Abhishek was good in Dostana after his disastrous superhero act in Drona. His chemistry with John Abraham was the key to the moderate success of Dostana.

  • there is no such thing as being fare in voting.

the voting system in bollywood is completely fixed. the votes are rigged.

so dont bother even discussing who deserved the award, cos the award does not always go to the best performer.

quite frankly, they may as well give the award to mickey mouse, for all i care.

  • well my vote goes 2 one n only mr.rajeev khandelwal. He actually deserve …he is new here i think i should appreciate him for his work

  • hey! i agree with malik! sharukh is the best yaaar! hrithik is also gud! n shahid is gr8 buddy! but in rnbdj king khan was really awsome n his acting was absolutely mind blowing no one can compete with sharukh except Rithik ROSHAN! n suzana have u lost it! rnbdj was really a gud movie n sharukh n anushka rocked 2gether his acting was not at all pathetic ok!!!!

  • the best performance ever was by aamir khan in ghajini. the most mind blowing performance of the year. no other actor comes even close. iam surprised that aamir missed out on the award and it is going to actors who gave silly performances not even worth talking about. these guys dont deserve it. the 2nd place should go to hrithik for jodha akbar.
now, i agree the awards are a hoax and completely rigged. too bad for you all.
