The very talented Vidya Balan who is famed for picking unique performance-oriented roles is rumoured to play Mehrunissa in Sudhir Mishra’s next.
Vidya will be playing Mehrunissa at the age of 20 and 62. Apparently her older role is modeled on the renowned actress Waheeda Rehman. If things workout, the actress could be seen sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. The movie will be produced by Nikhil Advani.
The film is expected to go on floors only towards the end of the year as Vidya has already allotted her dates for Rajkumar Gupta’s Ghanchakkar opposite her ‘The Dirty Picture’ co-star Emraan Hashmi.
