Vidhu Vinod Chopra ropes in Barrie Osborne for ‘Broken Horses’

Bollywood filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to give his ambitious English film project ‘Broken Horses’ an international feel, as he has roped in Barrie Osborne as the executive producer.

Osborne, 66, has produced some of the biggest Hollywood projects like ‘Face/Off’, ‘The Matrix’, and also ‘The Lord of the Rings – The Return Of The King’.

Welcoming him on the board for this project, Chopra said: ‘Barrie helps us get the scale of the film right. As for Fred, I met him a few years ago as a student on the sets of ‘The Godfather’. He was inspiration then and is an inspiration now.’

Apart form Osborne, another American producer Fred Roos, who has films like ‘The Godfather’ Part II and III, ‘The Outsiders’ and ‘Lost In Translation’ to his credit, has also been brought on board.
