Victims want financial help and Salman Khan to be freed

13 years have passed, but the entire drama around Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case seems to have revolved around the actor himself. But what about the victims – five people were run over by Salman’s car, one homeless man was killed.

There was a serious debate on NDTV, the topic of which was “The Salman Khan verdict: Bollywood plays victim, but forgets the real victims?”

But has anyone bothered to ask the victims what they really want? If Salman is sentenced to 5 years in jail, will the lives of victims change for the better?

Abdullah Sheikh, a victim who lost his leg that night, says “In the last 13 years, because my leg was broken (in the accident), I have not been able to earn anything. The prices of basic necessities has increased, so it’s worrying. I live on whatever I can earn, which is not more than 200-300 rupees.”

“I was 22-23 years old when the incident happened. Even if he (Salman) is punished now, I am not going to get my leg back nor will our worries reduce. We do not want him (Salman) to get punished, we want help, some financial help, nothing more”

The son of the man who died under the pavement says “We have nothing against Salman. He did not do it intentionally, he should not be punished. We haven’t even met him”

The deceased man’s wife agrees with her son and adds “We want to see Salman free. The person who has died is not going to come back. It was his destiny”

  • ROFL, what about those 2 people who died in the accident just bec of Salman as he was drunk and was running behind his GF.. Ask those 2 in hell will they forgive him or not? ofcourse not.. even when the Ravinra Patil was injured till last breath he didn’t forgive salman , didn’t change the statement that ‘Salman was driving and salman was being drunk’ and so called Golden Heart ( by PR) Being Salman Khan left him along in the hospital didn’t even help him and later he died badly in hospital..

Court will surely not listen to those people who lost their legs but will surely listen the ones who died and will surely look to those who died bec of salman..

  • But our ‘saints’ want ‘justice’. Won’t they be victimised if Salman is freed?

  • Unfair Verdict on Salman? Dumb Fans don’t understand that Salman is not being punished for charity. He is punished for serious misdeed.

  • Tomorrow Salman verdict will be suspended… Then he get bail every easily…people should understand 1st what is law?

  • The bollywood C grate actors Like sonakshi , arjun , varun daisy shah who supoprt him did you guys know what is the condition of That poor family , read this line if you are really human being Abdullah Sheikh, a victim who lost his leg that night, says “In the last 13 years, because my leg was broken (in the accident), I have not been able to earn anything. The prices of basic necessities has increased, so it’s worrying. I live on whatever I can earn, which is not more than 200-300 rupees.”

  • It doesn’t matter if the victims want him jailed or not. The law has to take its own course. And hypothetically speaking, if you free Salman on that basis then it will set a bad precedent and you’ll have to do it for everyone.

Also doesn’t matter if it’s been 13 years and he’s done charity work, that doesn’t change what happened. By that logic, any person could commit the most heinous of crimes but be excused of it by doing some charity work.

On top of the car accident, he also lied about not driving the car and about not drinking – that should also have further charges.

  • 13 of sufferings is that they wants poor family.indian law sucks they shud have told salman to pay heavy penalty and case closed n every1 is happy

  • Victims want financial help and salman to be freed but v king fans want maximum punishment to bhai and the victims to suffer for the remaining life

  • now nothing is in the hand of VICTIM’S FAMILY’S HAND.how much may they support salman even for money also,INDIAN LAW will not forgive salman.

    #send the criminal behind bar
    #respect the law

what salman did charity that has nothing has any link with his case.it’s great deed but it couldn’t be considered for his benefits especially to get rid off punishment.so all salman supporter and his fan’s logic sucks big time.

he may be a good human/worst human, but as he did guilty/crime so he is bound to suffer the punishment.no one can save the criminal from the hands of LAW.no one is above LAW.

  • thats what now we can understand.

    13 years have been passed.

victims have now understood that in india , judicial system will take this much time , so its good to get financial help rather being involved in such a long tired matter.

    but law doesnt understand this.

law only sees the crime nd criminal.

its generousity from victims that they have forgotten salman but law wont.

after 13 years also , maximum punishment of 10 years is not given instead it is of 5 years .

so not a single salman fan can say that court has behaved too harsh and all.

    everything is fine.

  • What dumb haters don’t understand is that the verdict does no good for anyone other than the people who shows sympathy to the victims only on social media. Eg.You
People with the same case got away with lesser punishment. What you should consider is that he’s giving back a lot to the society. He could be sentenced to only 2-3 years or less and be allowed to compensate the victims.

  • It will be good for everyone if this is done. Hope it happens.
Salman and family will be happy
Victims and families wil be happy
    Fans will be happy

But there will be certain group of rats like sss and Imakn who will grind their teeth if this happens. But I dont care about them.

  • but if court hear their voice then how police, lawyers and judge can get job. i mean this whole judiciary system is fraud and they dont have for justice but they are only doing their job for making money.

  • Neither Salman khan nor the victims should be guilty. The real culprit is GOVERNMENT who can’t provide 1 room house to the poor and ultimately the poor have to make roads and footpaths their shelter.

  • Our bhai has financially ‘helped’ his driver .
Nothing left for you victims … get lost !

  • “He ruined my life but he did not help me with a single paisa. I wonder what kind of charity he does when he does not pay the very people who are the victims of his bad deeds. All he did was to pay the compensation the court ordered him to pay me,” says Abdullah victim of this case

  • The law wants to glorify themselves as just and wanted to set an example that a rich and powerful guy can be convicted. But there will always be two sides of the coin.Sessions court decision us not final.

  • @ultron ur bhai wants court to give him an oder to pay compensation for the victims , why can’t he do it without being told? After all he started being human!!!!!!!!!!?

  • For mullu Bhai fans – “Today, my son’s soul can truly rest in peace.” These are the sentiments of Sushilabai Patil, the mother of Ravindra Patil, who was the bodyguard of actor Salman Khan on that fateful night. It was Ravindra’s testimony, in which he said it was Khan who was driving the car under influence of alcohol, that was the key evidence in the actor being pronounced guilty by the Sessions court yesterday.”

  • For Bhai fans who are trying to be smart — “Today, my son’s soul can truly rest in peace.” These are the sentiments of Sushilabai Patil, the mother of Ravindra Patil, who was the bodyguard of actor Salman Khan on that fateful night. It was Ravindra’s testimony, in which he said it was Khan who was driving the car under influence of alcohol, that was the key evidence in the actor being pronounced guilty by the Sessions court yesterday.”

  • if there is no probles for victims families then why he punished.
no one can do intentionally it happen.
He is the Star of indian cinema.
if they want money so plz give it.
    we want back SALLU <3

  • it’s true, there is no point of getting punishment, instead the victims should get enough financial help so that they can live rest of the life in batter way. Why not court understand that
