Tusshar’s crazy fan experience

Tusshar Kapoor was bullied by boisterous and drunken young fans at Leicester Square, London.

On his way to Yorkshire for an awards gala, Tusshar Kapoor had a brief stay in London. The actor, who was heading home after a late night movie, was roughed up by a bunch of high-spirited hooligans, all NRIs, at Leicester Square. The ruffians, who were Indians, pushed the actor around and ordered him to spend some time with them claiming that they were his fans. They even wanted him to rattle dialogues from his last release, Shootout At Lokhandwala.

However, the actor was in a hurry and explained to them that he could not entertain them. This is when the errant bunch started hurling abuses at the actor. Talking about the incident, the actor says, “It was so strange. I have made so many trips to London but I have not experienced anything like this. They were sozzled and didn’t even know how to conduct themselves. They had seen the film and wanted me to rant dialogues and be with them all evening.”

Later the group started pulling at his watch. The actor, along with his friends, walked off, as they didn’t want to indulge in any street-side brawl. Later the group followed the actor as he left in a car.

Says Tusshar, “Things were getting really ugly. We left immediately but those guys would not give up. It?s just another crazy fan experience.”
