Few Facts for people who are planning to boycott movie -:
An NGO called Make a Wish Foundation works for the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and make their wishes come true. Shah Rukh Khan is a member of the board of directors of Make-A-Wish Foundation in India has been closely involved with this NGO and has consistently come to help them out whenever they have approached him. Many of these little ones wish to meet Shah Rukh Khan and the actor arranges for such kids to be driven to his house and ensures that he spends some quality time with them bringing in joy in their lives.
Seven villages in Odisha, Ahriajpur, Banhipal, Okilapala, Palachua, Rangani, Denlasahi and Gupti, for which Shahrukh Khan became as a Messiah by funding for solar electricity; which was implemented by The Energy and Research Institute (TERI). As per TERI, Shahrukh Khan fully funded to implement the project in these villages of Odisha; where there is no proper communication to reach, people even for 61 years after independence stays dark at night.
Also in 2011,he was honoured with the UNESCO’s Pyramide con Marni award for his charity engagements and social commitment towards providing education for kids thus becoming the first Indian to win the accolade.
