@Nupun if not for Aamir then neither for salman. It will be next to impossible for salman to cross even 20 cr opening if he faces clash. His clash history suggests that he has never won any clash in his whole life. Lost to srk, akshay, Ajay, even fardeen, ranbeer, etc. That probes salman’s real aukaat. Currently he is luckiest because almost all others movies are either releasin0g on normal Friday or face clash with other movies. While he is yet to clash. And yeah, on non holiday he hasn’t given even 30 Cr opening.

Bro which dedication you are talking about, I didn’t see any changes in Hrithik’s physique in these 2 years…..Bro look at Aamir he put so much effort these 2 years, gaining wait and again losing it is not a cup of tea….Similarly Salman did it just like Aamir that too in a very small period of time…That’s called dedication….
MJD took so much time because it is a big movie, lots of research required to make such movie which Ashutosh did not Hrithik and these movies take time to complete…that’s why it took 2 years….

The song “Tu Hai” is the best of this album and way better than Rustom (Atif Aslam Song)…The clash is unfortunate for two good stars/movies. But it looks like the film business of Mohenjadaro:Rustom will be 70:30 i.e. 210 Crores: 90 Crores (assuming both movies content are excellent).

@Nipun, @Rohit, The comparisons with Dilwale are inevitable. But Dilwale was a typical Rohit Shitty movie that was completed in 3-4 months and it was received badly. Here we are talking about investing two years and lots of hardwork that gone into the making of Mohenjodaro. It must live up to its huge expectations. The last movie where Hrithik was impressive was 2009’s ZNMD. He does a few movies which means his every single movie must count. He’s not like Akshay. He has to deliver huge if he’s going the Amir Khan way.

@Salman fan, so shooting for a periodic movie which takes nearly 2 years of time to be completed, isn’t dedication? He could have done 2 movies in this period and earned around 80 crore from them in same time. Hrithik’s physique is similar to a healthy farmer, which is different from his physique in Bang Bang (chiseled), which was different from Krrish 3 (muscular), which was different from Agneepath (bulky), ZNMD (normal), Guzaarish (fat) and so on. Dedication isn’t limited to physical transformation, you have to give equal time to the character emotionally to bring life into it.
Aamir is someone who’s known for his dedication, I don’t think Salman’s transformation in Sultan is anywhere to Aamir’s transformation in Dangal or Hrithik’s in Guzaarish. He just gained a few kilos, then lost it. I praise him for that because he’s never experimented with his physique before in 28 years!

@Vera, got your point. But, reviews and WOM don’t make big enough difference on the opening day collections of any movie, unless completely rejected (Besharam). SRK-Kajol after years, Varun-Kriti, music are enough reasons to take a bumper opening even if we discount Rohit Shetty factor, whose movies tend to take big initials (G:3, BB, CE, SR). It was easily the biggest movie of last year.
I agree a lot of hard work and time have gone into making MohenjoDaro, this is why lifetime collections are more important than opening day collections. I’m sure it will take best possible opening, Hrithik fans and many others, are dying to see it.
Best album of d year….ar Rahman simply awesome….Hrithik moves so effortlessly….100 times better songs than crap sultan, gerua,…..& all other overrated khan songs…tu hai& other songs simply awesome…..best

@Vera, Bang Bang was never meant to be a cinematic masterpiece. Hrithik himself said it many times in interviews that he did it for fun. It was an action movie, and it had best actions for any Bollywood movie. He said MohenjoDaro is one of his best movies, so let’s see if it meets the expectations or not.
