KICK has opened poorly in the United States Of America, where the impact of Ramadan could probably be lesser than India. The film has collected approx $1.02 million in USA / Canada, which ranks at No 22 in the all time list.
For Salman Khan film in USA / Canada, the collections of Kick is lower than Dabangg 2 and Ek Tha Tiger.
The list is once again dominated by the two biggest overseas Khans in Bollywood, Shahrukh and Aamir.
The fact that SRK’s 2007 release like Om Shanti Om still holds on the 4th spot speaks volumes of his incredible craze outside India. Aamir is catching up quickly and took over the top spot from SRK with Dhoom 3. The rest are lagging far behind.
Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna still holds the record for the best screen average ever, with each theatre earning $21,200. The Karan Johar directed film was release only on 60 odd screens in 2006 collecting 1.35 million in its first weekend. The second best screen average is another Karan Johar – SRK film, My Name Is Khan!
