Action Jackson got the second widest release for an Ajay Devgn film (after Singham Returns) and the film released on around the same number of screens as Himmatwala last year.
The Prabhu Dheva directed film has recorded the 7th highest opening day collections for a film starring Ajay.
Singham Returns remains his highest opening day grosser to date, ahead of Bol Bachchan by nearly Rs 20 crore. Singham, Golmaal 3 and Raajneeti showed excellent trend, while Son Of Sardaar did reasonably well too. It remains to seen what sort of numbers Action Jackson can put up over the weekend.

Bol Bachan was not his movie. It was Abhishek Bachan’s movie all way.
