The trailer of ‘The Shaukeens’ was unveiled at an event with Akshay Kumar and the entire star cast of the film in attendance.
Talking about the film and the character that he will be playing “I am playing myself in the film and the only thing that was added in my character
was that I was shown as an alcoholic in the movie which is different from my real life character. I had a great time shooting for this film” said Akshay who only makes a special appearance in the film.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, The Shaukeens has been written by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The film is a remake of yesteryear classic Shaukeen. The remake features Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Anupam Kher, Lisa Haydon and Akshay Kumar.
