On Father’s Day, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan tweeted a picture of the original Bajrangi Bhaijaan, his father, the legendary writer Salim Khan.
The three Khans – Salim, Sohail and Salman are captured shirtless and Salim, at the age of 79, looks fitter than most men half his age!
Salman tweeted “My dad strongest. Salim khan (dullu) urff prince Saleem the original Bajrangi Bhaijaan, happy father’s day daddy. ”

The irony is people giving credit for Salman’s success to his father.Salim was already a retired writer and was living in isolation from Bollywood with javed akhtar getting all the new offers after their split. Salman had to debut as a supporting actor with someone else dubbing his voice in a female centric drama and had no grand debut.He is responsible for his own stardom. He survived because of himself.
On the other hand, our so called self made star has been the favourite of the biggest production house in the country from his second year itself. Salman never worked for big production houses until very recently. He was doing films for friends and relatives, small producers while our self made king was backed by yrf and dharma his entire career.
Not saying SrK doesn’t deserve credit, he’s one hardworking and charismatic guy but glorifying his struggle by belittling Salman is pure crap.Sensible srkians will definitely agree but I doubt there’s any in indicine.
