Much like I Me Aur Main, Ram Gopal Varma’s The Attacks Of 26/11 too has failed miserably at the box office. In fact, the losses will be higher for THE ATTACKS as the film was made on a higher budget (24 crore including print and publicity).
Unfortunately, while the response from the critics hasn’t been too bad for the RGV directed film, the audience has rejected the film.
Trade pundits believe there are several reasons why the response has been lukewarm. One, not many would want to relive something as horrific as the 2008 Mumbai Attacks. Two, due to the blood and gore, the family audience stayed away. Three, the film didn’t have anything new to offer, nothing that wasn’t already seen in much more detail on news channels and documentaries.
Overall, the film is likely to end it run with lifetime collections in the 11-12 crore range. FLOP.
The Attacks Of 26/11 Box Office Collection

- Saturday – 1.65 crore
- Sunday – 1.9 crore
