Of the two releases last week – both medium budget films with a small but reliable star cast, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya has clearly won the box-office race. After a good weekend of 7.8 crores, the film has held up well on Monday, to take it’s 4 day total to around Rs 9.5 crores.
The film opened to an average response on Friday (1.9 crores), picked up considerably on Saturday (2.5 crores) and did exceptionally well on Sunday (3.4 crores).
On the other hand, Jodi Breakers too started off slow on Friday (1.5 crores), picked up on Saturday (2.0 crores) but failed to capitalize on Sunday (2.5 crores).
While Tere Naal is expected to cross 20 crores of lifetime business, Jodi Breakers should fold up under 12 crores.
Honest enough to accept the verdict of the audience, a disappointed R Madhavan tweeted saying “Oh Boy I screwd up sooo Bad its not funny.We at the unit feel far more for my super wonderful Producers than for ourselves.We Shall OVERCOME”
For Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, marriage has proved to be lucky as their first release together has exceeded expectations at the box-office.

although most of the peaple are not expecting that TNLHG will win this BO race but believe me , my mind was always thinking that TNLHG will win.
All in all it is a good news for newly merried couple coz they didn’t go honey month to promote their film.
Though as iam thinking their marriege was also part of promotion.
