Talaash has collected approximately 6.5 – 7 crores as per early estimates. The cumulative total for the first 4 days is around 53.5 crore nett.
The All India drop is 50% from Friday, which isn’t huge considering the fact that films have huge releases these days. Business dropped by 68% from Sunday in Gurgaon, while Gujarat dropped by 50% from Friday. Mysore and Nizam circuits too had drops of 65-70% from Sunday.
Can Talaash cross 100 crores? It should, but a lot would depend on how it fares after the release of Khiladi 786 this weekend.

talaash has huge drop .and huge after his mangal pandey its sad but not dissapointing film for aamir fan. it will not breaking any records now but may break heighest grossing multiplex movie as aamir fan i happy with the film but dissapointed with collection only.in our country its proved masala films are works its proved and nobody can deny it.
now i pray it cross 100cr .khiladi seems bad taste but opening weekend arround 45cr sure so i hurts only in weekend to talaash so maximum as netural fan i can say it will collect 110cr k786, talaash 95-100cr

well talaash can easily cross 100 crores but akshay would have to worry about khiladi 786 because the condition right now is that if khiladi release and takes all single screens even of talaash than in exchange talaash will have still atleast 1500 screens in multiplexses which is 300 screens less than 3idiots screens count. but the most important thing here for khiladi is that it has very small space for multiplexes release and as we all know that 70 percemt collections comes from multiplexes. i sure talaas will do fine in second week because its an aamir film not srk film

Talaash had decent collections of around 6.25 crore nett on Monday. Its the normal Monday, the film has not held up really well but nor has it seen a big drop.
The total after four days is 50 crore nett plus. The film will now depend on how well the multiplexes hold up over the weekdays and single screens will show big drops and Khiladi 786 will dominate single screens from Friday onwards.
The drops are around 50% in most circuits though Gujarat has seen a bigger drop and Mysore is also likely to be a bigger drop due to the huge start on day one.

i’ve seen both these movies first day last show.. and both were disappointing… JTHJ was very leanghty and Talaash being a short film you feel its being dragged on many parts.. I doubt Talaash may fail to cross 100 crores

It still remains to be seen where Talaash goes. They are all still Khans but right now you can say Salman Khan is the biggest by a fair margin. Also if Talaash does not gross big its more to do with the genre, director, writers, music etc and film in general, not Aamir Khan because whatever it does will be because of him.
