Director Reema Kagti’s much awaited thriller ‘Talaash’ has captured local areas of the Maximum City, which are gradually being demolished.
The Aamir Khan-starrer is shot in areas like Charni Road, Lower Parel, Colaba, Grant Road and Central Bombay to add the actual flavour of the city in the movie.
Two places – the chawls and mills – in Lower Parel have already given way to construction.
Kagti said: “Real locations… mostly old structures and buildings that are fast fading from Mumbai are used.”
According to sources, the movie is shot in real locations as opposed to sets. The unit hasn’t used even one set. The unit shortlisted 520 locations and finally they got to shoot in 47 locations.
“Talaash” sees Aamir as cop Surjan Singh Shekhawat and he will be flanked by two leading ladies – Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor.
I feel talaash still has a chance and It will kill khiladi bhaiya or whatever crap is coming

k-786 teaser is gud but song balma looks like b- grade movie song..jab tak hain jaan wil be atbb and sos wil be superhit..talaash wil be superhit atleast dabangg wont be atbb becoz arbazz directing it and k-786 wil be flop…

akshay fans please u can compare ur star with salman who do cheap movies dabangg same 2 same akki too did rowdy and now k-786 lookin like rd class or b-grade movie..stop comapring in the range of badshah of bollywood
Khiladi 786 & Talaash are not record breaking material. But Akshay & Aamir are going to rock 2013 with Special Chabbis,OUATIM 2 & Dhoom 3, Pk. Saif & Hrithik may also do with Race 2 & Krish 3.
Talaash not being promoted by Aamir or Excel. They’ll call it art film to defend its low collection. Akshay’s Khiladi 786 will kick it just as Welcome kicked TZP.
Ankur you on some druggs mate? TZP did equally well on bo like welcome inspite of being a child centered movie it crossed 66 while welcome made 73 lol n we all know TZP won national award also n was critically super appreciated that 2 when AAMIR came in 2nd half
he will produce a good quality movie and everyone knows that. Remember one thing when taare zamin par was still to come than everyone said that this film will not work and even that was clashing with one of the great movie welcome but the result is infront of everyone..
