it’s good to watch a well-made film collecting so much. it was a classic in first half
and good in 2nd half. hirani disappointed big time in 2nd half. i hope hirani well
comeback because after watching 2nd half of pk, iam a bit worry about his direction
in his next film.
so as far now slb remains the only director in present time with 4 back to back
classics – khamoshi, hddcs, devdas and black. doesn’t matter what any body
say about these films, but the fact remains the same that all of them are known
as classics. though i agree that his films are nothing less than hamming contest.
but his actors does act will in most parts, with some occasional hamming in 4, 5,6 scenes
and some times in whole film.
don’t know why some Bollywood directors disappoints after giving some classic,
first gawarikor and hirani.
PK can be the movie of this decade
Aamir started his mindblowing acting from the very first scene of PK which continued for whole movie
He entered a church with pooja ki thali. He taunted muslim community for fatwa against girl’s education. He took a dig at Christians forcing to convert Hindu farmers.
Took the biggest dig on his own community in bomb blast scene. And Hindus felt they were the only one, badly projected? PK is a very difficult movie to digest. You have to go with open mind to enjoy it. The intention was not to demean people. It was to make them think.
Same thing had happened after OMG. Akshay and Paresh Rawal were given police protection! We need to accept religious satires. If we can’t then simply don’t watch it.
The success of Pk is well deserved. A brave attempt it was. Loved the line, “Koun Hindu, Koun Musalman, thappa kaha hai???”
