Salman Khan’s Sultan has crossed the 200 crore mark early-evening today. The film has gone past the lifetime collections of films like 3 Idiots and Happy New Year. The 7-day collections of the film will also be quite close to the Hindi version business of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, as Sultan has remained rock-steady on Tuesday.
Sultan is also the first film in the history of the Hindi film industry to cross 200 crore in its first week. Even after adjusting for inflation, no film would’ve crossed 200 crore net by the end of Week 1, making Sultan the fastest money-spinner of all time.
The film is already the 8th highest grosser and should eventually beat Dhoom 3 to become the 3rd highest grosser ever. The 300 crore mark and surpassing Bajrangi Bhaijaan are possibilities, depending on the kind of growth the film manages to show on Saturday and Sunday.
The industry surely has come a very long way from the time when 3 Idiots became the first Hindi film to cross the 200 crore mark – a record was broken nearly 4 nearly after its release by Chennai Express.

I don’t think it will cross 300 cr, the fall on monday was higher than expected. Anyway, Salman is way ahed of others but he’s the only one who got solo release on Eid and Diwali for the last two years… Dangal will mark Aamir’s come-back for sure, and give SRK a solo festive release so that we’ll see that he’s still in the big league !

Breaking: Pluto is No Longer a Planet & Fight Over BO Calculator

Keralabad (KBTimes) — On Twitter on July 11, srk has confirmed ‘Pluto’ is no longer a planet. So, what happened to his land and kingdom of Paglapur is still to be known.
But going by the latest reports, he has shifted his Kingdom to Uranus along with his followers and set up a new one over the planet. Nevertheless, the solar or inter-planet migration has led to a conflict between the original inhabitants on the planet Uranus, who go by the name of Jaadoopurians.
Furthermore, the conflict has been intensified between the two alien groups over the competition to use the same calculator for the calculations of BO figures on 26th January, 2017.
Updated: according to the latest reports, after an intense fight, the production house, Lal Mirchi, of the Paglapurians, the new inter-planet migrants from Pluto (which is no longer considered as a planet), has got the right to use the epic BO Calculator to calculate the first three days at the BO of the Raees on the Uranus. Meanwhile, the production house, FilmKrap, of the local Jaadoopurians of Uranus will use the same BO Calculator from the fourth day onward for the BO calculations of Kaabil.

However its per screen average was a huge $8,375 which puts it just behind the number 1 movie of the weekend ‘The Secret Life Of Kings Subjects’…!
