100 crs is not a benchmark now for any top star …even akshay is getting 100 crs I think now minimum requirements for a top star should be 150 crs. Just like saw in d case of Shah Rukh any movie below 200 seems like a failure by other fans that’s cz of d standard he has set and now same applies to Salman and Aamir minimum expectations of their movies is 200 crs that’s how far the Khans have taken their stardom too. Hope Ajay and Hrithik maintain that standard henceforth both Shivaay and Mohenjo minimum collection should be 150…

To All,35-37 CR on 2 consecutive days ,partial holiday or full ,doesn’t matr,is excellent,but we still wanted more.100 CR in 3 days wud b impeccable.This shows the consistency of the movie,and the WOM is good.Bajrangi did not get similar openings but went on to collect 320 cr.HNY collected 44 CR but fell flat soon,which won’t happen to sultan for sure.some talking abt partial holiday and full holiday..some states had holidays on thu,some had on fri,s o the movie didnot get the advantage of national holiday.besides,on national holiday,both gov and private employees r off duty,they prefer watching movie wit family ,pay higher ticket price,which boosts the box office col of the movie by 25-30%.Sultan did not get this advantage for sure.Haters can hate the movie,but the point is ,movie is good.Good to go out and hv fun.So watch and enjoy.
Interestingly salman life is similar to sultan script , In 90s from his debut he made records and broke many records and rule to continue for nxt 10yrs but sadly he falls in the middle 20s and then again in this decade he rises and rest is history which still continues and ruling the industry like never seen before .
