Colors Screen Awards 2012 Nominations

Note: It’s not Star screen awards anymore – Color’s has bagged the rights for the 18th Annual Screen awards.

The nominations for the Star Screen Awards 2012 have been announced! In the main categories; Hrithik hasn’t been nominated for Best Actor (Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara), R Madhavan has won a surprise nomination for his performance in Tanu Weds Manu. Although Farhan Akhtar’s performance was lauded both by the critics and the audience, he hasn’t been nominated for his performance in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. He could have been included in either ‘Best comic role’ or ‘Best Supporting Actor’.

Salman Khan has NOT received a nomination either. Shahrukh Khan has been nominated for Don 2. Both Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan have been nominated in the Best Actress category for their performances in No One Killed Jessica. We wonder how that works?!

Farhan Akhtar hasn’t found a mention in Best Director. No Best Film nomination for Don 2 either!

Any others who have missed? Check out the Star Screen Awards 2012 Nominations and do tell us what you think!

  • Wonderful. Happy to see shaitan and shor in the city in nominatin list. Dey were jst amazng films. Bt didnt do well due to the lack of star power

  • yaaa vidya balan is gr8 in tdp and nokj !! she shud get best actress awards………
best actor award shud b given 2 ranbir for rockstar ……..
    best movie —–nokj and tdp

  • @ mallu fans…sallu has already declared that he doesn’t care about awards, so if you people are fans of mallu then follow him and f**k off from this page.

  • fake nominations…….kaun kaun kitne mai kharid raha hai awards….is ko bhi dhikha dena chayee…..best awrd khariddar ke nominees hai…..srk,ab….

  • This nomination is just stupid, the nomination is not correct, Salman Khan should have been nominated for; ” Best Actor in a Leading Role.” The man who has collected this Nomination list is stupid, crazy man who has lost his mind. Salman Khan is far more better, stylish, verstaile actor than SRK.

  • The award should be given to the actor\ the person who deserve it, and my choose go to Best Actor in a Leading Role go to Salman Khan for hiliarious, excellenct, outstanding performance in Bodyguard.

But one should remember that the actor who has most awards is not obviously is the best actor. To identify a great actor, goes on his career experience how many film he has worked in and how many roles he has worked in( years experience).

  • @tiger_khan12: best actor award should go to the BEST one during the year..if its given regarding experience..then a new talent can never get the award…wht rubbish r u talking about????? if actor has more than 10 years of experience with bakhwas movies, no acting skills, then according to you he should be given best actor..!! wht a joke??? then the award should be renamed as ” most experienced actor”.. Best actor is given performance wise..best in acting..not stardom or experience..before commenting, have an idea of what u r commenting on…u r talking like grade 3 student man..this time best actor award should go to ranbir(rockstar) or srk(don2 – not RaOne)..thats for sure..but according to me ranbir deserves is more than srk this year..

  • One weird nomination: Vijay Raaz for Delhi Belly as Best Actor in a Comic Role??? Probably this should have gone to Vir Das but Vijay Raaz for comic role in this movie seems not very normal.

  • Would have also expected nomination for Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay Deol in individual awards also. Farhan should have made it for best actor in a comic role maybe, his timing was just perfect, Abhay as Best Supporting and Hrithik as Best Actor.

  • Why is Dhobi Ghat nowhere in the list?I guess it was among the best movies I watched last year. And for music the guy Sohail Sen deserved at least a nomination.

  • Crap awards n crap nominations … Good films like nokj, force , dmd are not even in the nominations… I was expecting debutant Vidyut Jammwal to bag a debutant award for giving an outstanding performance in ‘Force’ …
