A lot of people are aware that Shah Rukh Khan is a huge fan of Apple products. So it didn’t come as a surprise when the superstar invited Apple CEO Tim Cook, who is currently on a 5-day visit to India, to his home Mannat in Bandra, Mumbai.
After arriving in India late Tuesday night, Cook visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple early on Wednesday morning.
In the evening, he was the special guest at Shah Rukh’s bungalow, where quite a few Bollywood celebrities (including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi and several others) had gathered to meet the man who succeeded Steve Jobs as the CEO of the World’s Largest Company (Market capital).
In his packed schedule, which includes visits to Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi, Cook has an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
He’s in the country to take forward the ‘Make In India’ initiative of the PM and also to work at increasing the market share of Apple iPhone in India.

The Khans of Bollywood are notoriously known for not sharing amicable relationships with each other. But one look at their Twitter and you’ll know that it is all just part of rumors. Well, recently Shah Rukh Khan hosted a much awaited and very celebrated bash at his residence in Mumbai for Apple’s CEO Tim Cook. Considering the high-profile nature of the host as well as the person for whom the bash was thrown, it comes as no surprise that the guest list too was heavy-weight. Bollywood’s biggest names including the Bachchans, Madhuri Dixit, Imitiaz Ali, Parineeti Chopra, Gauri Shinde and many more were seen at the bash which was apparently very fun and happening.
While we are sure that everyone had a fantastic time at the party, the person who had the best time was none other than SRK’s youngest son AbRam. The cutie pie is well loved on social media for his adorable hijinks and his overall personality – and he’s only started walking!
Anyway, the reason that AbRam had so much fun is that Aamir Khan had gifted him some toys to keep him occupied. After all, which toddler cares about parties? Well, turns out that the youngest of SRK’s clan really enjoyed with his new toys.
The ‘Fan’ actor took to Twitter to thank his apparent rival Aamir for gifting AbRam some amazing toys which made him choose playing over sleeping. Yes! The doting daddy mentioned this in his 4am tweet which reads,

You spoke about Gandhian philosophy, but I think you know least about the same. Yes, Gandhi Ji called a boycott of all foreign made products with his “Swadeshi movement” , but that was a need of pre-independence era. Goras were busy improving their economy by selling their cheap products at sky-rocketed prices in India and there were no rules at place to regulate these prices or to examine the quality of the products sold. India was proven to be an exuberant territory for their business and thus they wanted to extract most from it. That was the moment, Gandhi Ji realized that if it continues in the same way, Goras will never leave our country as they have an established business in India. Thus he called off a boycott of English goods to provide a sudden jolt to the English economy.
But things are different now. In pre-1947 era, we were fighting for our freedom and thus we sacrificed our economy (Yes, that’s true) and it took almost 40 years for us to bring the nation’s economy back on track (through 1991 economic reforms).
But now as a developing nation, we need funds to expedite any kind of development process.
Do you even know why Tim Cook visited India ?
He inaugurated a modern Research & Development lab in Hyderabad to run the technical as well as support functionalities of Apple Inc. from India. So this move won’t only bring a huge investment in India, but it will create ample job opportunities for Indians (who fail to get a job in top notch companies like Apple/Microsoft etc due to visa restrictions).
Likewise, other top MNCs are targeting India as their safe destination for running most of their business.
There is an American bank “Wells Fargo” ( I was a part of that bank for quite sometime) , which established it’s first technology branch in India in 2006. And soon after the procurement of their first office in India, they were forced to open couple of other technology offices as they were quite impressed with the Indian talent and cheap prices (for procurement of an office workplace).
And now the situation is, they are going to move their entire technology operations from U.S. to India and Philippines.
So equation is simple. Foreign companies are moving to India because they get their work done from Indians in India at a price of 1/6th of what they pay for the same work in US/UK.
At the same time, they are creating ample job opportunities for Indians plus a huge revenue is being generated for Indian Government .
So it’s a win-win situation for both the sides and only few village idiots like you will oppose these reforms.
If we keep rotating our currency within ourselves without an intake of foreign currency, soon we will be on roads, forget about the developments.
As we don’t have enough resources available within our country (which can help us to back & support the growing population of India) , we starve for such investments and any kind of such investment takes us an step further to strengthen our economy.

I pity on your limited knowledge. You said, Foreign companies are dominating Indian market, but it’s totally opposite.
Didn’t you see Donald Trump (Now google it out who is he) going gaga over outsourcing and a decline in the opportunities for Americans in America?
In fact, this is one of his major agenda that once he will come into the power, he will cut the jobs for outsiders in United states. So come out from my shell my friend.
It’s Indian service based companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, TechM who grab are most of the UK/US based projects and in that process, they even outshine the local companies (of those foreign countries).
And “Jai Jawan Jai Kisaan” was a slogan circulated by Shastri Ji in 60’s when Indian economy was primarily dependent upon agriculture.
But now it’s 2016. So 50 years have been passed since that Slogan came into existence and in these 50 years, most of the things have been changed and now our economy is dependent various factors (with ‘agriculture’ being one among but not the primary).
Now, just go and check how much percentage of Indian economy is being contributed by ‘Agriculture’.

His number of hits is even less than half the years he spent in Bollywood. Aamir is such a big ‘megastar’ that his success ratio hasn’t even reached 50% after having delivered ATBBs and ATHGs. It’s so unfair. Even after delivering PK he’s still not called the biggest moviestar in the world. It’s such a shame. It’s just that people are so unjust to him that even after building his image as ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ people forget to support him as the most loved Indian globally even after watching his movies in theatre.
