Two stars who are set to compete against each other in the Best Actor category, will also be hosting the Filmfare Awards this year.
In the past, SRK and Saif Ali Khan were the most popular hosts and were at times pretty controversial. A couple of years ago, they were replaced by Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.
This year, Shahrukh Khan is set to return as host, this time with Ranbir Kapoor. The two, will co-host the event for the very first time on 29th January at Filmcity, Mumbai.
While SRK has been nominated for his performance in Don 2, Ranbir Kapoor is the favorite to win the Best Actor award for his fantastic act in Rockstar. Both films have also been nominated in the Best Film category.
The other two blockbusters of the year ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ have received the highest number of nominations.

This is an awkward combination. SRK-Saif were good, so as RK-IK. But SRK-RK? I don’t know. I think stars of same age should be paired. This is like Father & son.
SRK is always good as host. And Ranbir as a youngstar needs to learn a lot from SRK.

@abhishek… u r right. ranbir wil win. srk can’t buy award bcoz he wil buy ur mother on the award night and will have fun with her. as he wont be present in award function he has donated his award to ranbir. ur mother is more important for srk than award.

Kingkhan is a public choice thz year most popular tho, ranbir as rocksatar is good but kingkhan as don is excellent..so kingkhan should win as usual…
