SRK – Kajol vs Ranbir – Deepika: Kajol says don’t compare!

Comparisons between Bollywood’s legendary on-screen jodi of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were being made with Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen chemistry with Deepika Padukone.

At an event, Kajol was asked if Ranbir and Deepika could be the next SRK-Kajol.

Kajol said ”Honestly, I don’t think you can compare anybody to anybody. I cannot be like Deepika or she can’t be like me… or we (SRK and I) cannot be like Deepika and Ranbir or vice-versa”.

SRK and Kajol have shared screen-space in films like ‘Karan Arjun’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’.

All their films together have gone on to be super successful at the worldwide box office.

On the other hand, Deepika and Ranbir have done two films together, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. The ex-lovers are gearing up for their next film ‘Tamasha’, which has been directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film release in theatres on November 27.

  • SRK-kajol is legendary but RK and Deepi is also pretty cool.
    One Jodi which is highly underrated in bollywood is Anil kapoor and Madhuri..

  • I have never seen any of these films praised for their “jodi” and only for SRK’s performance and other lead as well. I personally believe that she sucked badly in most of these films and media is overhyping their movies.. Akshay-Katrina jodi was also evergreen as all their movies together were ht but the movies were praised dut to the lesd just like all the above listed movies. they have worked together in:
    Namaste London
    Welcome
    Singh I s Kingg
    De Dana Dan
    Tees Maar Khan
    also Blue but she was paired opposite Akshay in last 3 minutes so movie flopped :P

  • SRK Kajol are most loved bollybood couple.When they come on big screen they create magic. No one can Romance like them.Evergreen Jodi of bollybood, Dp-Ranbir’s chemistry is good but not even close to SRK Kajol
    Even Akki Katrina jodi is better than DP RK..
    Sallu fans are barking on SRK Kajol. Why don’t u people watch your bhai has become too much Mota..he is no more Romantic ..while King Khan doing more n more Romantic movies still he is Charming King among all Khans..

  • @stark hrithik is 42years old debuted in 2000 while Shahid is 34years old debuted in 2003 and i agree hrithik is a superstar but he got the kind of launch from his father also when he was going through his bad phase his father big budget movie helped him to come out from that phase while Shahid’s journey has been like an outsider his father is nor rich enough nor any star just a acclaimed actor so whatever he is tosay cause of himself yes he is still struggling cause of his poor sript sense and bad luck while hrithik is a top superstar and also the cometetion is very tough now back in those days people hardly cared about hit and flop and the general people have no knowledge about movie collection cause there was no internet people only wanted to see good movie and less hate were there at that time while now thngs changed in the time of internet if u r going throug bad phase of ur films flops it creats huge amount of negativity which affects ur next movie as well also the insecurity and frustration level of die hard fans increases when their fav’s rival actor film does well so to bring them down they spread alot of negativity on social media even without watching the movie which affects the movie cause in this internate age 90% multliplex audience are internet friendly so ur one wrong step creats so much negativity and the fact that none of the youngster has the kind of fan base that all 3 khans,Kumars,Roshan and Devgan have achieved this negativity mostly effects their movie while negativty doesn’t affect much may a be little to 3Khans,Kumar,Roshan and Devgan cause of their massive fanbase so today the competetion has become very tough.

    A great couple does not mean that it should bound within the age of 30.After 10 years also SRK-Kajol jodi will shine much brighter than the new heroes or heroines if they got appropriate script.
    Jodi means the understanding, respect, love……

    SRK Kajol have set the standards so high.. No onscreen couple can create half the chemistry & charm of these two. They wee they best, are the best and will always remain the best..

  • Seriously. As a kid, I always felt that SRK & Kajol were married couple. This delusion of mine got broken with the passage of time.

    SRK-Kajol is the best onscreen couple, they are born to win our hearts Love Both of them! They have Done Greatest Work From KKHH to MNIK, now waiting for Dilwale.
