The Hyderabad schedule of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ will be wrapped up in the first week of November.
Team Dilwale has been shooting for the film in Hyderabad, where important portions of the Christmas release have been filmed.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Dilwale also stars Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. It’ll be Shahrukh’s first release after ‘Happy New Year’ and Kajol’s first after We Are Family in 2010.
Varun was last seen in ‘ABCD 2’. Kriti made her debut in Heropanti last year. Dilwale will be her second film.
We have plenty of on-the-set pictures from the sets of Dilwale. It looks like a happy team. Varun – Kriti look good together. And the legendary jodi returns too.

Off-topic update: The promotional campaign of both Fan and Dilwale is set to gain momentum on Shah Rukh’s 50th birthday. Details about his second character ‘Gaurav’ who plays the role of an SRK fan, will be revealed on November 2nd.

What SRK said about clash
We have been hearing about the big clash of the two films ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ as both are scheduled for December release. It is more of a déjà vu as it reminds you of the clash between SRK’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ and SLB’s ‘Saawariya’ in 2007.
The question that arises is whether both films can co-exist with audiences getting divided. Shahrukh Khan who is currently shooting for ‘Dilwale’ said in an interview, “Absolutely, there is no science to it, of course the audience will get divided and I believe not just in my films but I believe in and respect each and everybody’s film. It is kind of unfortunate. We make 200 Hindi films a year and there are 54 to 56 Fridays a year, four films are bound to come on the same Friday. But having said that, I feel, the time that we are coming in is the Christmas weekend. There is enough business on that weekend for two films to co-exist and do well. Inshallah, both ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ will do very well.”
