Actor Anupam Kher, who is set to lead an ‘anti awardwapsi’ protest at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday, has come out strongly in support of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Kher’s comments come after party members of the BJP asked SRK to go to Pakistan if he isn’t happy in India.
“Some members of the BJP really need to control their tongue & stop talking rubbish about @iamsrk. He is a national icon & We r PROUD of him.” he said in a tweet.
The actor went on to add that there are ‘bad elements’ in every party and the Prime Minister cannot be judged on what a few people say.
“In every party there are some bad elements. We can’t judge our PM or his intentions using that yard stick.”
One of the biggest supporters of the PM, Anupam had also come out strongly in support of the PM “I love PM Modi and I think he is the biggest thing that has happened to modern India politics”
Anupam Kher has shared screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in several films, including their most famous father-son chemistry in Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
Anupam ji, BJP leaders are calling him Desdrohi & Pakistani agent. Even some of them are comparing him with terrorist Hafiz saeed. If modi is innocent as you said then why he is not taking any action against his party leaders talking these nonsenses??? He won’t take any action because he is the man behind these all fringe groups.

What a joke. Then why was he detained at US airport? No body knows him outside India. I laugh at some people who say India is known because of srk. My foot?
