Like every other year, Shahrukh Khan carries on the tradition of inviting media on his birthday. He turns a year older on Saturday, and has invited the media for gathering at his palatial bungalow, Mannat, Bandra, Mumbai.
“I feel very weird when people celebrate my birthday with great enthusiasm every year. So, you all (journalists) are invited. Come to my home. We will sit down, have cold drinks and chat” SRK said at the launch of a jewellery lounge by Lista Jewels (pictures below).

Chennai Express World Television Premiere got a Fantastic 9.5 TVR. Biggest of the Year by the distance. CE TVR is 3rd Highest ever after 3 Idiots (10.9), Bodyguard (10) both premiered in 2010.
TAM market composition changes every year, so comparing ratings over time is not advised. But 9.5 today is certainly like 11+ in 2012. CE records highest ever TVR in last 3 years from 2011-2013

Zee TV takes a CHENNAI EXPRESS ride to the top : pushes Star Plus to No. 2 :-
After breaking box office records, Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Chennai Express’ has now smashed all records on the small screen in Week 43 of TAM. The world television premiere of the film on Zee TV fetched 19,541 TVT which largely contributed to the channel’s growth by about 100 million TVT.
Zee TV’s dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 4 also contributed to its growth. DID 4 opened at 6,075 TVT to become the most watched show in the weekend. Riding on Chennai Express and DID 4, Zee TV has hit the top spot among Hindi GECs, pushing Star Plus at No. 2.
According to TVT data sourced from TAM subscribers for Week 43 (October 20 – October 26) for CS 4+, HSM markets, Colors was at No. 3. Life OK made a comeback to No. 4 followed by SAB TV at No. 5. Sony remained at No. 6.
Zee TV topped the Hindi general entertainment channels riding on the television premiere of Chennai Express. Its viewership grew by about 100 million and its gross TVT reached 505 million. Its relative share rose to 21.33% against last week’s 18.28%.
Star Plus lost 24 million in its Gross TVT and slipped to No. 2 in Week 43. The channel recorded 493 million TVT with a relative share of 20.80% (last week 517 million TVT with 23.09% relative share).
