Shahrukh Khan and the team of his upcoming film ‘Happy New Year’ donned traditional Arabic wear – kandura for men and abbaya for women – for a press conference here in Dubai.
“The idea of donning up this local look comes from Abhishek so we all would thank him for that. We are happy to be dressed like this… when we looked at mirror, many of us look like locals” SRK said.
It was Shahrukh’s first public appearance in a black kandura, while the rest of the actors wore the more traditional white kandura. Director Farah Khan and her leading lady Deepika Padukone wrote black abbaya.

Abhishek is better than shahrukh. He does better movies than him and abhishek is better actor as well. But abhishek is underrated actor. Shahrukh looks too old now and looks like uncle with ugly face.

@Karan What do you mean by srk reaching top first time??. come out of India and see who is the biggest star on the planet!!!. Many countries know India as a SRK’s country..his movies are famous worldwide!!. if your mind is very narrow minded like auto-rikhshawwallas fans..here is the proof, 7 out of top 10 movies overseas collections are held by SRK- kingkhan!!!. Other stars lifetime achivement movies will come in top 10 but every king khan movie starts directly from top 10. The other three movies which are not of SRK are Aamir khan’s 3 idiots, Salman khan’s Ek tha tiger and Ranbir kapoor’s yeh jawani hai diwani….. I doubt these actors can ever crosss the collections of their own movies in their lifetime!!! If they cant king khan will capture all the top 10 spots in next few years!!!
