Yet another new poster of Maneesh Sharma’s FAN has been released. This time around, since both the characters that Shah Rukh Khan plays on screen are right next to each other.. the VFX and prosthetics used to make the superstar look younger and slimmer are apparent.
It was Gaurav’s character that delayed the release of the film from Mid-August last year to Mid-April this year.
The background also has a bike-chasing scene, in what looks like Aryan Khan (character based on SRK’s life) chasing his fan Gaurav.
FAN releases in theatres on April 15, about 5 weeks from now.

On one side aamir’s movies have class of social message like in 3 idiots, the message was about education, students, TZP had message about children’s talent, pk had message about having faith in all religions, dangal is about message for women empowerment, this self possessed star only does movies which have him highlighted and no message but fake, idiotic story of mindless, psychopath, illiterate fan who doesn’t have any of his own achievement but only awaara, spoiled person just living a life behind an actor like having drugs. That’s the difference between real class actor Aamir khan and wannabe classless actor srk. And his idiotic fans call this as classic even without watching. God save the world.

@ Suchit : U may watch movies for social messages but I watch movies to get entertained only. Any day any time I will prefer Sholay to 3 Idiots and Sholay had no social message at all.
The best thing about an actor is that he should be able to play all kinds of roles. SRK has done movies like Swadesh, MNIK, CDI which were meaningful roles but I also expect him to play negative, comedy, romantic roles etc. Some of Amirs best work has been Fanaa and Earth which were completely negative roles. That’s what an actor is supposed to do and play all kinds of roles and not just simply keep giving social messages.
if spreafing negative thinking in peoples is entertainment then i wanna give kick on that kind of entertainment and entertainer.
if someone play negative character positive character beat him badly is only saving grace of such movies. just like sunny beated srk very badly in darr.

@ xzone- i haven’t seen fan but i wanna tell you there are many better actors than srk in bollywood and theater. character of Gaurav isn’t handsome so beauty isn’t need for Gaurav character main thing needed is acting and i am sure any theater artist can do better fan than srk but difference between him and srk will be fans like you.

I request all SRK fans not to over hype FAN and burden SRK with unrealistic expectations. Let him give a memorable movie and it will be treat for all of you guys. By having unrealistic expectations you are only harming your idol. Some of the expectations from FAN are:
* FAN_500 cr : One fan have created this id on Indicine since FAN was announced. SRK yet to achieve 500 crs WW even with festive release and masala movies.
* FAN will be nominated for OScars : Are you serious. FAN has so many similarities with hollywood movie THE FAN. I doubt Academy Awards even look into it.

* SRK will win best villain award : We are in March and FAN is releasing in April. Post FAN release we still have 8 months in 2016 which means approximately we will have 36 Fridays and at least 75 movies releasing (only A grade). You never know who is going to surprsie (definitely not Aamir or Salman – punn intended). btw, awards will be the last hope for SRK fans from FAN.

@Suchit You forgot to include some of Aamir’s most socially relevant films like Dhoom3 Ghajini Delhi belly(which he produced) and also Mela which had a huge impact since it made society to force his brother and twinkle to stop acting?

@ Suchit : I thought I was clear in my explanation but apparently I was not. From entertainment I didnt mean the typical masala/action movies but any movie which I will enjoy watching and that could be a comedy, dark, action, romantic movie and could also be a movie with social message.
For example I was entertained after watching all the following movies (from different genres) but I dont think any of the following had any special social message:
1. Angoor (Sanjeev Kumar), Golmaal (not the Ajay devgn one but the old one) and Andaz Apna Apna. No social message here but I still enjoyed these awesome comedy movies.
What I understood from your comment is that we cannot call an entertaining movie a classic one. But for me these three movies are both entertaining as well as all time classics. May be we disagree here.
2. Movies with negative/dark characters: Darr, Baazigar, Fanaa, Earth, Gangs of Wasseypur, Omkara (Saifs character), Kaun (Urmilas character), Agneepath, Parinda (Jackies role) etc. And action movies such as Sholay, etc. Again thoroughly enjoyed these movies.
3. Intense movies such as Shakti (the Amitabh one), Company etc
4. Movies such as Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Black, Barfi etc – difficult to categorize these movies.
5. Romantic ones like DDLJ, Maine Pyar Kia, Qayamat se Qayamat tak, Devdas,
6. Even some masala movies such as Ghayal, Dabang, Ghajini, Om Shanti Om etc. Not classics but a good two to three time watch
I dont think any of the above movies had any particular social message but enjoyed them nonetheless as equally as I would do a well made movie with a social message.
And I obviously also thoroughly enjoyed movies with good/social messages such as 3I, Swadesh, PK, MNIK, BB etc.
So what I was trying to say is that I do not expect an actor to just focus on movies with social messages but try different genres which Amir has done quite successfully. I would love to see him do another Andaz Apna Apna (out an out comedy) or Earth (a very dark role) and will enjoy it equally.
Anyways may be have a different view on these matters. But I was surprised/disappointed to see that comment of yours in which you called all SRK fans idiotic so I commented in reply. I cannot talk about all but a number of SRK fans are only anticipating the FAN movie to be a good watch and we are not calling a classic as obviously that can be said only after watching.

From social movies we meant movies have a deeper meaning and highlighting a flaw/negative in the society and giving a strong/clear message to the society for improving that flaw. For example 3Is message of focusing on excellence and learning rather than running after high paid jobs, Swadesh’s message to love your country and try bringing positive changes in the society, BB’s message of love and peace between two warring nations and PK’s message of understanding the right and wrong in religions. I think that was quite clear from our meaning of movies with social messages so was surprised to see your strange comment.
From your logic 99% (or even more) Indian movies are movies with social messages because almost in all movies the hero kills the villain. With that logic even SRK negative movies like Darr, Anjaam, Baazigar, Ram Jaane are movies with social messages because in the end the negative character dies. Even Dabang becomes a movie with social message as Salman beats the villain. I do not consider these as social movies and if u consider them that u may.
Regarding the understanding of “entertainment” please read my detailed reply to Suchit.
Finally if u r blaming me of double standards then quote me my comments specifically. If I am wrong I will accept it. And if u r talking about some one else then u should be addressing that specific person and not me.

@Romance KRK is a god? Never knew that. We all know how many times krk’s predictions were right. So dont give us such crap. Fan with best reviews will struggle to cross 90 Cr and with worst review it will not cross 50 Cr life time.
