Special Chabbis continued it’s good run at the box office, but given the positive word-of-mouth, the film’s second week business was slightly below expectations.
The Akshay Kumar starrer is likely to collect around 16 crores in Week 2, which is about 30% lower than the second week collections of OMG! Oh My God (23.6 crores).
Special 26 will end it’s theatrical run with lifetime collections of 60-65 crores net.

S26 is a victory for AK but the distributors were the loser. The movie will get an above average verdict may be. This has to be mainly due to AK last release K786 which was ridiculous. The movie opened to really poor numbers. This movie should have come after OMG. To add to its woes ABCD performed great in Mumbai which took most of S26 business.
I would still believe this movie has the potential to touch 70cr only if multiplexes do not reduce the shows or take it down which is likely to happen since Kai Po Che is another multiplex film.
It will take some 3-4 more movies of content based for AK to get bumber opening in multiplexes for such genre type movies to cross 100crs, which makes me feel Ranbir Kapoor (Barfi) to have a better impact than AK.

just like k786 being a pathetic film(even i am die hard akki fan,still i didn’t like it a bit),5th release for him that year,still collected 75 crores.which is similar or more to what rockstar collected with positive reviews.

That’s d tragedy with our country nd our audience..a noncence films like race 2 nd dabangg 2 r earning 100 crores nd good films like special 26 nd paan singh tomar both by content nd acting r unable to cross even 50 crores.. common audience its high time.. do watch good films: instead of wasting time in noncence movies … salman khan thinks ..making action film will always work for him.. he has made a circus of it.. only 2 films in last 5 years can b said to be good nd natural actions films ie. Gajini nd gangs if wasseypur.. so I think special 26 should b watched twice or thrice ..because we don’t see such good films now days ..It deserves 100 crores..

Sp26 is one of the best movies of akki not like the boring love stories of other films.every one has acted well in this movie.
