The theatrical trailer of Sonam Kapoor’s film ‘Neerja’ will be attached to the prints of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘Dilwale’ which releases in theatres on December 18.
The film, which is scheduled to release in theatres in the first half of 2016, is based on the real life story of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot (played by Sonam), who fought for the lives of the passengers of a hijacked Mumbai-New York flight in 1986.
‘Neerja’ also marks the acting debut of music composer Shekhar Ravjiani, part of the famous music director duo of Vishal and Shekhar.
Sonam thanked SRK for giving a small film like ‘Neerja’ a platform through which it can reach millions of moviegoers in the country.
