Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be performing at a concert called ‘Son Of Soil’, the proceeds of which will go towards the suffering farmers in the country, who have been committing suicides due to lack of money and rainfall.
The event will be organised by his ‘Ra One’ director Anubhav Sinha.
The filmmaker said “This concert has been on my mind since quite some time, but I began speaking to people about it only a week back.”
He approached SRK, who immediately agreed to be a part of the concert.
“I met SRK and discussed the idea with him, but even before I finished my sentence, he told me with a straight face, “Just tell me where do I have to be and when.” He was immediately on board” the director said.
Talking about his friendship with SRK after the poor response to their super-ambitious film ‘Ra One’, Sinha said “We have always been in touch and he is a wonderful friend. I’m delighted that he readily agreed to be a part of my concert”
The concert will be held in Mumbai or Delhi.

Today some brainless people have just shown their true class by even degrading the entire episode which has been organised for the Farmers.I really feel pity for you people who have so much filth in their heart and brain for a particular star that they can’t even digest the fact that something good is happening to the farmers through this concert
The best way is by just ignoring them since no matter what we say or Srk does they aren’t going to change and we shouldn’t waste our time in explaining them since barking dogs don’t deserve any such explanation
