After collecting more than Rs 32 crore on its first day at the box office, Singham Returns seems to be holding up very well today. Mumbai circuit is rock-solid. The drop for the morning and noon shows seems to be around 35-45% at most centres, which suggests that the film should collect more than 18 crore on Saturday.
As tomorrow is a holiday (Sunday), business at multiplexes picks up towards the end of the day. Late evening and night shows are expected to be super-strong as the advance booking and word-of-mouth are both good.
If Singham Returns manages to collect anything more than 20 crore on its second day at the box office, the film could collect 80 crore in its first weekend – which would be similar to the first 3 day business of Salman Khan’s Kick.
