Singham has opened to a great response at the box office and is now the second biggest grosser of the year after Ready. The collections were super-strong throughout the weekend at single screen theatres, but the multiplex business was slightly on the lower side.

- Friday – 8.5 crores
- Saturday – 9.5 crores
- Sunday – 12 crores
- Weekend Total – 30 crores
Better collections at single screens means the distributors share is higher, so the DS for Singham is around 16 crores for the weekend.
Singham has also fetched around 23 crores in Satellite Rights. So overall, even if it drops drastically during it weekdays, the investment has already been recovered. Just how big a HIT it goes on to be, remains to be seen.
Fifth success for Ajay Devgan in the last two years which includes 3 huge box office grossers – Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, Rajneeti and Golmaal 3.

Well i saw the movie today and i believe this movie is a celebration of superb acting,superb direction,superb stunts,superb screenplay,terrific dialogues,superb camerawork and very very intelligent and socially relevant issues which is plaguing our Nation and our society…kudos to Rohit Shetty 4 making a masterpiece of a movie…he had the guts to open a pandorabox and show the people wht’s lying beneath the dirty world of politics and rampant corruption…Rohit aapko baar baar salaam! People of India go watch this movie take home the lesson and act on it! Ajay Devgn’s mindblowing performance!

Thank god it was released here in Sri Lanka at least for just 1 week. Could manage to watch it in the theatre on the last day. I feel I’m really lucky. Because the movie was just SUPERB..!! Ajay Devgan & Prakash was fantastic. Kajal was stunning. Song Saathiya was amazing. And Maula Maula video was looking glamorous.5 out of 5.

ajay is good actor in hindi film industry, he is only one actor in this time, he was good serious actor, like zakham, khaki, qayamat,gangajal,apharan,rajneeti and also singham. keep it up ajay.
