In an interview to a local daily, Ajay Devgn has rubbished rumours of his next film with Rohit Shetty – the sequel to Singham – will clash with Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar.
“There will be no clash with any film. One of us will release our film (on Independence Day 2014). I wouldn’t want two films to release together so that nobody suffers as this is one industry.”
Ajay also spoke about his clash with Jab Tak Hai Jaan last Diwali, and clearly stated that the trend of big films snatching screens from comparatively smaller films isn’t a good for the industry in the long run.
“The issue needs to be sorted out and that is why I am in court (against Yashraj Films). It isn’t going to help only me. By going to court I am spending money not for Son of Sardaar but to eradicate this problem which I had foreseen much earlier. I feel this problem is only going to multiply and whoever did not believe in me earlier will suffer”
Devgn concluded by saying “But if you have to clash then you have to go all out like I did with Son of Sardaar and came out victorious.”

after the 1st weekend the collections of both the movies were similar,towards d end even SOS collected more dan JTHJ. So SOS was a true victory.
If Ajay would not have faught he might have not got even 1400 screens. So clearly it was Ajay’s victory over Yash Raj and SRK

You duffer, moronic person! JTHJ was released in 2500 screens & not 2600 screens. SOS was released in 2000 screens & not 1800 screens. And after one week, SOS got 370 screens back due to poor performance of JTHJ in single screens. That is why, SOS crossed 100 crores. Otherwise, it would have been stopped at 93 crores just like TALAASH.

And if you are talking about worldwide gross collections, then JTHJ is 100 times ahead of mindless crap garbage type movie SOS.
