Singh Saab The Great has collected around 15.5 crore in its first weekend at the box office. The film was ahead of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein in all circuits except Mysore, and even managed to Ram Leela in Delhi/UP, Bihar, C.P, C.I, East Punjab and Rajasthan.
Even though the response is better than expected and almost double of what a multiplex-film like Gori Tere Pyaar Mein has earned in its first weekend, the film is unlikely to recover its costs.
Singh Saab The Great released on 2100 screens in India.

- Saturday – 4.75 crore
- Sunday – 5.5 crore
- Total – 15.45 crore

He is the best comedy actor in india,his performance in films like hera pheri,garam masala,welcome,bhaagam bhag,aawara paagal deewana,HF,HF2 can’t be replaced by any other actor in the industry be it Hrithik,SRK,aamir,salman,ranbir…
These comedy performances are not intense ones so they are never given awards and are overlooked,but Akshay is a true Superstar,though it is bad time for him but he will hit back with Holiday.

SSTG is a good movie; unfortunately Sunny doesn’t sell. Another flop for Sunny………high time he went behind the camera……no need to release, ‘I Love New Year’, ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhit’ and the one shot in Banaras – all lying completed but in cans for no one is ready to release them……
